"Gorgeous! So serene and feels rural even though its steps from the cable car stop. The room was really large, and of course the main attraction is the private on-porch onsen. I made the most of the hot spring, and I couldn’t get over the view from the dining room! Great place to unwind for 1-2 days on your trip, just like a spa—hang out in the onsen, enjoy the multi-course meals, and if you do feel like leaving, walk a few steps down the road to the Hakone ropeway and see if you can get a...

"This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Beautifully decorated, clean, new and spacious. Staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Amazing service and facilities. Check-in process was so nice - we were seated in the nice lobby area while they took care of all paper works and luggage. Transportation from/to Odawara station made the trip so convenient. I can‘t say enough good things about this place and I would definitely go back. "

"The food is absolutely amazing, the staff are very friendly, a local bus conveniently passes right buy it, they have a free shuttle to take to Gora which is the rope way station is. Their bath was slightly underwhelming but they have an option to use another public bath for free (5 minutes away). The room was clean and comfortable. It’s in a calmer and quieter area if that’s what you are looking for. Not much to do after dinner but very peaceful."
