"Our stay at Chalet Saundade was wonderful! The hotel is a boutique stay! Very stylish in the vintage Sintra fashion! Clean, in a perfect location with a delicious breakfast served across the street and up a few stairs! The only downside is there is no elevator to the 2nd and 3rd floors upstairs! So just be aware when you’re booking. But, on the flip side you can beat the location- close to the city center and train,bus depot and the hotel personal are so welcoming!! I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Perfect!!!"

"Hotel Nova Sintra is a gem 💎 We felt right at home for our entire stay (1 Week). Rui is such an amazing host. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern, the free breakfast is delicious with a full variety of foods to pick from. The hotel has a lovely outdoor terrace that overlooks at the mountains and castle. It is perfectly located to explore by foot the city of Sintra. Also, short ride to Cascais and even Lisbon by train. We highly recommend this hotel."

"It seems like the hotel just recently open the staff all though pleasant was unable to fix issues with the hotel other than just apologizing for the inefficiency WiFi often went in and out construction was always going on the hotel closes its gates after midnight and the toll booth was inaccessible for your taxi to safely drop off at lobby area after 10pm, had to walk down the hill multiple times down a dark rocky road not easy when the guess are elderly or physically challenged.."

"Sweet little space to stay. Walking distance to many local spots for tourist. Close to restaurants. Breakfast was great. Room was very small but clean, trendy, perfect spot to stay while visiting."

"Romulo was extra helpful and helped me with shuttle to airport on last day. Old building with updated amenities with original grandeur. Decent location to central Sintra. Assess is easy and quick with Uber. Otherwise, it takes a good stroll on hilly terrains. Breakfast is good and basic to fuel our activities"
