Wir haben ein Hotel in der Nähe des Flughafens gesucht um von dort aus mit dem Mietwagen Ausflüge zu machen. Dafür war es perfekt. Es ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich, das möchte ich hervorheben. Für uns war es optimal.

Bra boende med fräsha rum. Sängarna var mycket fasta och det var lyhört mellan rummen. Fin frukostbuffé med mycket att välja på men vi saknade ägg, bacon och äppeljuice.

Siamo viaggiatori con poche pretese ed in genere usiamo le strutture principalmente per dormire e lavarci, dato che siamo sempre tutto il giorno in visita delle città in cui siamo. Una cosa, però, è imprescindibile: la pulizia. Nella stanza abbiamo trovato il water sporco, specchio e mensole piene di polvere, doccia e pavimento con capelli vari, il rotolo di carta igienica già utilizzato per 3/4 (senza rotolo disponibile in aggiunta) e gli asciugamani macchiati. Il letto aveva solo il lenzuolo che, in una giornata tutt’altro che calda, non era sufficiente. L’unica coperta nell’armadio era piena di polvere. Nei corridoi e negli ascensori odore sempre di polvere e di scarsa pulizia. Inoltre materassi lasciati appoggiati al muro in giro negli spazi comuni. Colazione perlopiù dolce e varia, ma anche questo l’ambiente dava l’idea di poca igiene. Probabilmente avremo sbagliato a non far presente tutto questo alla reception, alla ricerca di una soluzione alternativa, ma non ci aspettavamo che si potesse migliorare granché. Non ci tornerei. Prezzo alto per ciò che abbiamo trovato.

Monfalcone nutzten wir als Kreuzfahrteinschiffungshafen. Für 2-3 Nächte ist das SAM Hotel eine gute Wahl vom Preis - Leistungsverhältnis. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns das reichhaltige Frühstück im Speisesaal hoch oben im Hotel mit phantastischer Aussicht. Sollte sich Monfalcone als Einschiffungshafen etablieren - sollte das Hotel die Einrichtungen der Hotelzimmer etwas "überdenken" und teilweise erneuern um im Rennen zu bleiben. Ansonsten war es ein schöner, angenehmer Aufenthalt in einer interressanten kleinen Stadt in schöner Umgebung.
