"Hotel Lone is certainly a beautiful property, surrounded by greenery and in a wonderful location in Rovinj. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but despite its official 5-star rating, I personally felt the experience was closer to that of a very good luxury 4-star hotel. For me, the main issue is the interiors. The rooms feel quite dark and would benefit from a renovation to bring them more in line with today’s 5-star standards. What I liked least was the extensive use of carpeting, from the hallways all the way into the guest rooms. In my opinion, it makes the interiors feel heavier and somewhat dated rather than fresh and sophisticated. The breakfast area could also use more attention to detail. I found the tables and overall presentation rather basic and visually underwhelming for a hotel of this category. At a 5-star property, I would expect a more refined and polished breakfast setting. That said, Hotel Lone remains a very pleasant and clean property with a beautiful location, distinctive architecture, and lovely surroundings. With a thoughtful renovation of the rooms and corridors, along with greater attention to some of the finer details, it could deliver a much more convincing contemporary 5-star"

"Nice place, clean room and excellent location. Apartment was nice, however, we were on the top floor with a terrace which was described as a 'private terrace', but the room next door had access across our terrace. If the door to the two top rooms (15 & 16) was left open, we found people who had booked rooms without a terrace using our terrace. This happened on three separate occasions and got quite frustrating. You are dependant on your neighbour remembering to close the door, but this could be resolved easily with a sign on the door to the two apartments saying 'private terrace'."

" Wunderschöne Unterkunft, jederzeit wieder!Wir hatten einen wunderschönen und sehr entspannten Urlaub in Rovinj und haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gepflegt und es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Auch der Pool wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und war immer super sauber.Dorijana und Franco sind unglaublich liebe, herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Die Kommunikation hat super funktioniert und bei Fragen wurde uns immer direkt und freundlich geholfen. Trotzdem hatten wir jederzeit unsere Ruhe und Privatsphäre. Zu Beginn haben wir sogar tolle Tipps für Restaurants und einen guten Bäcker bekommen. 殺Besonders praktisch fanden wir den Carport für unser Auto und die kostenlosen Fahrräder, die uns zur Verfügung standen. Zum Abschied haben wir sogar noch eine Flasche Wein aus der Region geschenkt bekommen, was wir wirklich sehr lieb fanden. Wir waren rundum zufrieden, würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen.Vielen Dank, Dorijana und Franco, für den tollen Aufenthalt! "

"Very clean place. Friendly and smiling staff good the hotel had bicycles so we didn’t have to walk into town. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Maybe the coffee machine could be better. All in all we had a wonderful time."
