"This villa was perfect for us, was exactly what we were looking for. We had a party of 6 adults and we all had a great holiday. This is a wonderful villa with stunning views. There is a supermarket, street food bar and cocktail bar about 100 yards away. The rest of the bars,restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance ( bit of a steep hill) along the lovely beachfront. George the host is easily contactable and very helpful. Would recommend this villa very highly."

"I arrived at the Ambelos with a clenched jaw and tension headache, I left a week later a completely different person. Everything at the Ambelos made me relaxed. The beautiful environment, the stunning scenery, the generous pool, the convenience of the facilities. The property was spotless and Andreas and the team take such care of the place and their guests, in a calm and friendly crete style manner. Fresh figs offered from the garden, a smile and a chat, it felt more like a retreat, a home away from home. At times it was so quiet I felt I was there alone, when almost all rooms were taken. The location means a car is useful, especially for getting food. However I did survive using public transport and could walk to the beach in 15 mins, and supermarkets closeish by. As a solo traveller I felt safe the entire time, in the hotel and surrounding areas. I'm already looking at deals to come back. Thanks Andreas and the team for a wonderful relaxed week!"
