10 jours dans le villa Albatros

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 10 jours dans le villa Albatros. La description et les photos sont vraiment fidèles à la réalité, sauf que la maison est plus grande qu'elle en a l'air sur les photos. Cela dit nous étions le plus souvent sur la terrasse. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la climatisation dans les chambres , qui est d'ailleurs plus que nécessaire en cette saison (janvier). La maison est bien située : dans un quartier calme, et proche des deux plages de Mont Choisy et de trou aux biches : où nous allions à pied. Nous avons apprécié de trouver très prés de la villa un club de plongée, et un arrêt de bus pour pouvoir bouger . Nous étions seulement trois, mais la maison peut accueillir sans problème deux familles ...

Ne pas hésiter !

Nous gardons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour dans cette location, tant sur la qualité de la location que de la gentillesse et la serviabilité des personnes qui nous ont accueillie. Une note spéciale pour les propriétaires qui mettent tout en œuvre pour que vous passiez un très bon séjour (ne pas hésiter à les contacter par mail pour tout renseignements) La location est très bien équipée et fidèle a son descriptif. Elle est située dans un quartier calme, proche des accès bus et restaurants, ainsi qu'une supérette et d'un marchand de fruit (discuter les prix) La climatisation dans les chambres est aussi un atout pour passer de bonnes nuits lors des fortes chaleurs. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la proximité des magnifiques plages de Mont Choisy et de trou au biches (pas besoin de voiture). La terrasse couverte avec son salon de jardin vous permettra de prendre vos repas à l’extérieur en restant à l'ombre le midi et "au frais" le soir. Vous aussi avez la possibilité de manger le midi sur les plages grâce aux camions ambulants qui proposent des plats locaux et copieux à emporter, le tout à peu de frais (environ 200 roupies max par pers) Côté transport, nous avons opté pour le bus, l'arrêt est situé au bout de la rue. La fréquence de passage est élevée. Il faut compter 22 roupies par personne pour aller à Grand Baie et moins de 50 pour aller à Port Louis Pour visiter le sud ou l'intérieur, si vous êtes autodidactes prenez plutôt un taxi. Dans le cas contraire passez par une des nombreuses agences de tourisme qui ne manqueront pas de vous sauter dessus lors de votre passage à grand baie (voir même sur les plages). Un conseil, prenez le temps de comparer mais faites le dès votre arrivée pour organiser au plus tôt votre séjour. iIl ne pas oublier que ces voyagistes vous facilitent la vie pour certaines excursions (transport, entrée, bateau, repas,etc...) Un très bon Snack/restaurant (Chez Stéphanie) se trouve à 200 m de la maison (la rue derrière), plats locaux vraiment "fait maison", samoussa, mines frits, vindaye, carry, camaron, langouste (à commander à l'avance), etc...idéal si vous n'avez pas envie de cuisiner !! Deux autres restaurants se trouvent à 500 m dont "la baye des pirates ". Ils y font souvent des spectacles le soir avec une scène couverte en face des tables. Sinon, il faut aller sur grand baie ou trou aux biches (5mn en taxi) Bonnes futures vacances sur l’île !!
