About this property

Apartment in a medieval village

  • Ca Montalcino is a delightful apartment located inside the walls of the ancient castle of San Giovanni d Asso, one of the beautiful villages in the hamlet of Montalcino, in the heart of the Val d Orcia.

    It consists of a double bedroom, a sitting room, kitchen and bathroom. It is ideal for two or three people; in the sitting room there is a single sofa bed.

    The house, renovated in 2018, overlooks a characteristic courtyard with a well and has a small open space on the back suitable for relaxing on sunny days. A room in the basement houses the laundry room and bicycles, available to guests.

    From San Giovanni d Asso you can easily reach many of the most suggestive destinations in the area: from Pienza to Bagno Vignoni, to Rapolano Terme, to Montepulciano and Montalcino itself. Siena, Arezzo, Perugia and the sea are about an hour away.
