First class!

Beautiful holiday home in gorgeous remote unspoilt village. The perfect getaway whilst still within easy reach of the incredible cities of Carcassonne and Miripoix. Warm and friendly hosts with owner living close by. 3 storey accommodation well equipped for the 6 of us plus toddler. The mountain breeze welcome relief to combat the 36 degree heat. The pool is a tad cold for our liking but that is our only negative comment. Lac Caveryere a must visit spot for water sports. No idea where our 10 days have gone. Would definitely stay again. Car essential. Local wineries a must visit.

Pour de belles vacances au calme

Belle maison avec une très belle et grande piscine privative (sécurisée) La maison est dotée de tout le confort nécessaire y compris de mobilier du jardin. Montclar est un petit village charmant au milieu des vignes, attention pas de commerces sur place.Cependant, des commercants ambulants viennent régulièrement avec leur camion (boucher, boulanger...) attention à la période d’août où ils sont souvent eux-mêmes en vacances. Montclar est situé à 10 mn de voiture de Limoux et 20 mn de Carcassonne. Nous conseillons cette location surtout aux familles souhaitant passer d’excellentes vacances, relaxantes au calme. Equipement bébé également prêté gentiment par le propriétaire.

L'accueil, la localisation, le calme, la maison... tout était très bien. La piscine parfaite, par fortes chaleurs et avec des enfants, bref... tout à fait recommandable !

Gite sympa et calme

Endroit agréable , propre, calme, très fonctionnel et une grande piscine très sympa par ces fortes chaleurs . Le village n'a aucun charme ! Dommage pour cette situation géographique . L'avantage est la proximité de Carcassonne et des châteaux cathares. Vignobles et randonnées à souhait.
