Very clean, comfortable, and fairly priced. Of course, there are exclusive hotels nearby that cost thousands of dollars a night, and if you can afford that, more power to you. But if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable room at a fair price, I would 100% recommend the Deer Haven Inn. It was a great value and a comfortable place to stay.

ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN. STAFF HELPFUL. PARKING EASY. PLENTY OF ROOM. ROOM HAD A FIREPLACE WHICH WE WANTED TO USE. WE WERE TOLD IT WORKED AND ALL WE HAD TO DO WAS TURN UP THE THERMOSTAT. WE TURNED UP BOTH THERMOSTATS AND WE RECEIVED NOTHING AFTER WAITING HOURS FOR THE FIREPLACE TO COME ON.

An outdated hotel. Needs a revamp pretty bad. There was trash leftover from the prior guest, every wall had scuffs and peeling paint. The lights flickered above us in the middle of the night, our neighbors looked like they were cooking meth next door .. happy they were dog friendly but you definitely get what you pay for. I’m upset they charge $5 for keeping their plastic room keys, never heard of this before.

I'm sorry to say I was not pleased with this stay. The room smelled so strongly of their cleaning agent that I quickly had a headache. Luckily, with the help of open windows and a ceiling fan, the smell dissipated by the evening. Contrary to the smell, the countertop was dirty and all of our white socks were black on the bottom from the floors. Honestly, we would have moved to another hotel but it was a busy week and nothing else was available. The location is great for the bike trail near the bay but the restaurant options are VERY limited.

We enjoyed our stay at Deer Heaven Inn, it's very clean and well maintained. Proximity to the beach is excellent and in a very quiet part of the city. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Very quaint. Very helpful staff. We had very noisy upstairs guests and they handled that well. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Lots of close attractions. Parking was great.

the place was lovely clean, nicely updated, nice fireplace, fridge, microwave, the tv did not work at first, but the staff got it working, and the office staff on day of check in was so pleasant. its more quaint than fancy, close to asilomar beach, would definitely stay again.
