"Plenty of parking and very clean room. I didn’t really see any staff just because of when I checked in and how busy I was during my stay. "

"Exedia had a deal on this one so I snapped it up. I was not disappointed. We were upgraded on arrival to a beautiful room with private deck outside. It was a suite - with a living room and fireplace and a beautiful bedroom. We had our wine and cheese on the deck - gorgeous with trees. I actually fell asleep on the couch out there. It was so nice. Staff was really great - everyone was very helpful and friendly. The house itself is really pretty and the gardens around it nice. We didn't use our car the whole time, because we could walk to everything. I suggest springing for the parking. There isn't much parking in the area. Includes breakfast, which was pastry, bagels, fruit, yogurt, and hardboiled eggs. There is a nice dining room where it is served. All in all a true find and a great place to stay in Monterey."

"My stay was uneventful, took was quiet, clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very basic, fro y staff were great. Recommend but there are better location hotel at this price point if you want to walk around downtown"

"Great place to stay. Highly recommended. Just bring your earplugs if you want to sleep in. Also ask for the upstairs rooms. I prefer it. "

"Beautiful hotel and proximity to attractions, food, beach views was perfect. However, my check-in experience wasn’t the greatest and customer service lacked. I called a few days prior to request an early check in and when I arrived (about 2 hours before check in time), this wasn’t able to be accommodated. I went out for food and arrived about 30 minutes before official check in time and room still wasn’t ready. However, I spoke to a different front desk agent and they were accommodating, and gave me a different room that was available right then. The original agent never gave me that option and wasn’t at all accommodating. Would stay here again when I come back BUT hope to have a better experience with the front desk. "
