Room was clean but slightly outdated. We got a lot of use from the hot springs, that was the highlight of our stay. Staff were friendly and did a great job explaining the layout of the resort and answering questions upon arrival. Easy access to La fortuna downtown area by car as well

The food especially the fish was not so good. I guess a $50 tip for the guy that showed us around the property was not enough because he wouldn't even look at us after that. Other than that the place is great we loved it except the water slide was closed and so was the bar I guess low season.
