"I can't say enough about how beautiful the grounds and scenery are. The staff were all incredibly polite and our room was spacious. The only issue was arriving to a room full of mosquitoes, and we woke up with a bunch of bites despite keeping the windows and door closed. The rest of our experience was so good that I'd still recommend it without hesitation. Just maybe pack extra repellant!"

Monica welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed, she couldn't have been nicer. We also arranged for her to cook a celebration meal one night which was exceptional, genuine local products, her own cheese and a real flavour of Tuscan cookery. Die Gastgeberin war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit.In der schönen Ferienwohnung ist alles vorhanden, was man zum Wohlfühlen braucht.Fahrtzeit nach Pisa 1 Stunde 45 Minuten und Florenz 1 Stunde 25 Minuten. Nachts die Serpentinen hoch ist ein kleines Abenteuer, da allerhand Wild unterwegs ist."

"Third time in Lucca and couldn't fault this hotel. Great location for (numerous) laps of the walls. Comfortable rooms, good choice of food and drinks for breakfast and surprise complimentary drinks / cakes in an afternoon. Hot tub and outside lounge area meant we could relax outside. Also complimentary bike hire means you save a fortune from the local bike hire shops. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again. Thank you. "
