"Family members traveled from Northern Wisconsin and Western Pennsylvania to join in on the celebration of another family member's 45 years of teaching/retirement observance in nearby Yorkville. Three generations stayed comfortably in the spacious home. "The place is very quaint but a bit tight for our group. For example, you could not open the basement door and the back door at the same time. This made unpacking and reloading a challenge. The downstairs "lounge" was somewhat finished with painted walls floor and overhead. Very low ceilings down there as well. My 6'4" husband banged his head more than a few times. Not sure the basement bath and bedroom addition would considered code as there was no egress from the basement. But our stay was...

"This was the perfect place for our family of 6 to spend a long baseball weekend. We were close to the ball fields my grandson was playing on. Lockport is a cute little town. We felt safe in this location. We commuted about 45 min to downtown Chicago to visit several tourist attractions. The house has a full kitchen, nice dining room and living room. Everything in the house was clean and in good shape. We definitely will be staying here again for future tournaments or Chicago visits!"

"Difficulty in accessing the site with house rules, che in, and checkout instructions. Kitchen was adequately stocked, nice decor and clean. Accurate description of by the tracks- train does blow the whistle late night and early morning but oddly got used to it. Location was close to wedding venue, so that was helpful"

"I stayed there to celebrate Christmas and one of my kid's birthdays. I raised my kids in this area and they still live there so we knew the area well. It was a very nice time. The only thing I personally would change is that the mattresses are too firm. I have hip problems and I wasnt able to sleep. Two of my kids went home to sleep the second night because of the mattresses but one of my children loved the firm mattress. It would be nice if there was an option for a softer mattress on at least...
