"The room was perfect if you are looking for a hot shower and a clean bed. It was a great location. Not the cleanest floors but other than that it is a great place for the price. Staff were kind and friendly. It’s an older hotel that probably needs updated but I wasn’t looking for fancy just safe, affordable, and bug free. This place was that!"

"This cabin delivers on every level! The view is amazing, the location right next to the state park made boat ramp access a breeze and the home was so well appointed it felt like we were staying at a friend’s house, not a rental. It was so fun looking at all the lake-themed decor (especially all the unique table lamps) and the kitchen lacked nothing. All the home’s features were clearly communicated which made settling in quick and easy. We loved being right on the lake, and having our own dock in a quiet cove. It was so relaxing and quiet, a perfect setting to truly unwind. Unlike some rental homes on Lake Murray, this truly felt like a mountain cabin escape, not a traditional house, which was fun and relaxing. We can’t say enough about the owners, whose communication was top notch! They literally thought of everything, and then some! The cabin is curated so thoughtfully that you feel really cared for. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for hosting us!"

"This property is probably the most beautiful I've seen ever!! The pool, the lake views , the flow of the house and the guest house with garage set up to spend watching football. My 30 year old autistic son loved his room over looking Lake Murray and spent hours upon hours in the lazy river and jumping off the "rock" in the deep end. First thing he said on the way home "Can we go back" It was so peaceful and serene. A hidden gem. We made one trip to Publix and stocked up for our stay so we wouldn't need to leave this oasis. The guest house was perfect place for my older son and my younger son took the bottom floor The Master Suite on the top floor is unbelievable. Beds were so comfy and I'm 61! Every window including the bathroom had a view of the lake. We will go back next year for sure!! The staff were so incredibly kind and available if we needed anything."

"We did have a nice time at the Quack Shack. The covered deck by the lake was my favorite spot. We had beautiful weather, warm but breezy. The house is a little rustic but had what we needed rooms-wise. Inside is a little dark inside for me and the one bedroom did not have a/c but did have a good ceiling fan. All in all we had a nice vacation on the lake"
