The hotel is about 12-miles from Montrose. It's actually in the village of Inverbervie which is a very nice place.

Very strange feeling when we arrived. No clear entry point. Had to call to let staff know we were outside. Grounds were unkempt. Room was dark and seemed grungy. Good bathroom. We had a lovely stay at this house which was very clean and presented well with everything that you need for a short holiday. The check in process was well communicated and simple and although we had some issues with the heating this was promptly dealt with by the owners and did not affect our stay. ...

The hotel is about 12-miles from Montrose. It's actually in the village of Inverbervie which is a very nice place.
We went specifically to see the geese at the Montrose basin and we weren't dissapointed with the spectacle they and other wildlfe around the area treated us to. Sharkys good for food and hospitality.
