The room was clean and well laid out, however, I thought we were getting single beds and the room had one double and a couple of bunk beds. Tea was not replenished on the second day of our stay which was disappointing. Also the entire bathroom door is frosted glass and gives little privacy. With that being said, the location is super convenient and walkable. Staff were kind and polite.

Lovely appointed and prepared room in the west end, handy for the relaxed, less touristy drinking and eating on Rose Street.
Recommend nipping out to Cairngorm Coffee, a lovely local eatery for breakfast, and take a walk down to The Dean Bridge and along the Water of Leith Walkway to St Bernards Well and Stockbridge.

"Absolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved.
