"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, warm plates in the plate holder. That must be a first, tea and coffee was also hot. Food selection was good. Would definitely stay for a night again if stopping off on the at further south. Dog 🐕 was made very welcome 🤗 and got a treat. Good central location. 💙🤗🙏xxx"

"Stayed in Room 108 - which had a balcony overlooking the sea. Very spacious with a great bathroom and shower, and lots of quirky features. Brilliant Breakfast with lots of choice. Alcoholic drinks were reasonably priced for a Hotel. Had Dinner one night, which was excellent quality and again reasonably priced. All staff were very helpful and friendly."

"My husband & I were very pleased with everything about our stay @ The Auckland Hotel. The staff were lovely & we had a wonderful welcome.The hotel was idea to walk to the promenade. Our room was lovely & the bed very comfortable. The facilities in our room were excellent. The breakfast was superb & well worth paying the extra. I had the vegetarian breakfast. The veggie sausage was amazing. We had our evening meal @ the hotel. The Fish & Chis was lovely.would definitely stay @ The Auckland again. Highly recommend."

"The room we wanted was not available due not to being quite finished, but the room we got as a exchange was excellent, no lift so not ideal for elderly or anyone that has difficulties walking unless you book a ground floor or bottom room, clean and perfect for a week/weekend, all amenities you need are in the rooms, quiet location so that's a plus but near shops and cafes in a 3 minutes walking distance."

"Wonderful location just off the sea front, beautiful cosy house with unbelievably comfy beds. Neil made us feel very welcome, recommended some fantastic local sights and even stayed up late to show us around when our travel was delayed. Would highly recommend! Also moments away from Old Pier Bookshop - unmissable unique place which we and our kids loved."
