Despite the very weird layout (you need to go up to the second floor to get back down to the first). There isn’t really any staff. Cleaners yes and someone sits at the desk for a few hours. It’s one of those annoying techie hotels where you do most of the work and check yourself in. This was annoying but not as bad as the sound insulation. We had the displeasure of listening to our upstairs neighbour flush their toilet and have a shower. It sounded like the water was coming into the room. Sound from outside the room from both neighbours and the hallway was crazy loud. The cotton bag the hairdryer came in was covered in black mould. There was also finger marks on the windowsill outside making it look like someone was trying to get in.

A charming small hotel in the old town of Bilbao, it was close to all the major sights and activities. The rooms are pleasant with high quality linens, and the breakfast is made to order. Highly recommended!

It was a clean room with a comfortable bed and bedding. The bathroom shower had good water pressure. It was conveniently located within old town and near the Concha beach. Lots of shops and pintxos nearby and a good gelato place just steps away.

The staff were excellent throughout our stay; genuinely welcoming, exceptionally helpful, and kind. Breakfast was very enjoyable, and the attentive service made it an especially pleasant experience. The room itself was spacious, clean and the mattress was very comfortable. However, we found the overall layout and design somewhat underwhelming. In particular, the headboard and the area behind the bed appeared to prioritise aesthetics over practicality, offering insufficient support and comfort when sitting up to read or relax in bed. Our main disappointment was the exceptionally high price, which we felt was difficult to justify given the overall experience. Furthermore, Expedia's booking confirmation did not clearly indicate whether breakfast was included, creating unnecessary confusion. The rate charged through Expedia was also excessive, and I would therefore be reluctant to book through them again. Overall, the warmth and professionalism of the staff were undoubtedly the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the room's design and the disappointing value for money prevented the experience from fully meeting our expectations
