The pond is beautiful, the ducks friendly, and the fast moving creek sounds lull you to sleep. I was very pleasantly surprised at how stocked the kitchen was with cooking supplies. The staff was friendly and the whole property is well maintained. "

"I enjoyed the old world feeling to the place as it fits in with the overall being in nature experience. The place does need some upkeep( New carpets and a new cour of paint in the rooms and hallways).The hotel also needs some modernization ( USB type plugpoints,2 point plugs,and fans/ aircons) and repairs to room doors.The restaurant needs a major shake up as the menu is limited,stock is limited and staff is not very attentive.I ordered a breakfast pack as I was leaving early in the morning and although reception took my order and required time the night before,the restaurant nor the reception not open when I checked out.I will be back for a recreational visit..but not for business "
