Lovely friendly welcome at check in, and this continued throughout our stay. The restaurant is excellent, I have never had a steak pie with so much meat, it was beautiful. We had a room on the upper floor, it was beautifully presented , comfortable and clean. Would stay again

Lovely

This is a very friendly hotel and it's dog-friendly too with dogs allowed in the lounge dining area and the bar (but not the restaurant). We had a comfortable, spacious room that had everything we needed and an en-suite with over-bath shower. The food was excellent and plentiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will book again.

An old property, full of character. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good with lots of options to choose from. The cooked breakfast had to be ordered and was prepared for you. We also had dinner with friends in the hotel. We all enjoyed it.

Very enjoyable.

Lovely room with character. Room on ground floor feet away from the through road but noise insignificant. Staff very helpful with good service. Excellent cooked to order breakfast with a variety of options. Small free car park to the rear accomodating about 8 cars. Public car park in the square and by the river if you follow through past the Square and the Church.

Perfect

Excellent hotel with a friendly atmosphere. Comfortable room but a little too warm for me (but most hotels are). Food was excellent; best I have had in a long time. Compliments to the chef. The only problem i faced, being a travelling salesman, was the lack of wi-fi. Otherwise, faultless.

Stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights while catching up with friends found the staff to be very helpful and attentive. The room was very comfortable also had food in the restaurant on the first night which was very good the fish and chips were the star of the show 👌. All in all a great stay and will definitely be back.
