"It was a great."

"We, a family with a 7-year old boy, had a great time in Catherine’s house. It is a unique place, the only house around situated directly at the beach, with caravan parks on both sides. It is rather a bohemian place, with plenty of foutdoor space and the kitchen being outside, so do not expect pristine conditions. The house was clean overall. We had some little issues which Catherine promptly dealt with. The sea and the beach are great there, the house is at the end of the main street so it felt like the crowds were not reaching that part of the beach. Just to add that the place is on the ground floor of a two-storey house, there is another unit upstairs which is also rented out. Each unit has its own entrance, the use of the pool is exclusive to the ground floor unit where we stayed. There is no direct access to the beach, we had to go around through the host’s house garden and the gate, but it is still very close to the beach. The upstairs unit has direct access to the beach. And the a/c is only in one bedroom so when it is above 30 C it is quite hot in the other bedroom. There are plenty of restaurants around and a very decent grocery shop accessible by foot. There is also a huge Hyper U in 8 mins drive. And we did not notice the advertised barbecue, not that we are fans."

"Excellent location , it took only 15 mins walk to the Village. Please do yourself a favor by paying a bit more to stay at the hotel part. We made a mistake of booking in the residence at first, and it’s disappointing. In the residence, the bungalow was small and it located waaay in the back of the area. It took a while to walk to the front gate. They didn’t clean your space daily either. Then, we moved to the hotel part. It was much better! The room was spacious and well-ventilated. The cleaning staff came everyday, although they did come too early (sometimes we need to skip the cleaning simply bcs we’re not awake yet!). It placed close to the entrance, however there’s no concrete road that leads to the bungalow. To access it, we need to walk through a field full of acorns and dry leaves! Inside the area, they offered a lot of entertainment. They have a big pool, sun chairs, foyer with a lot of seatings, a bar, a coffee machine(!), pingpong tables, even mini golf area and tennis courts! I also liked it that they provide laundry room with three well-functioning washing machines and dryers. You only need to pay 9 euros to activate the machines! Overall, we would return and immediately stay in the hotel part. They could do better, but we’re pretty satisfied for now."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in this lovely, well-equipped house. We couldn't have asked for more. We appreciated the air-conditioning and the pool, as the weather was fantastic. Information regarding the property and the area are mainly written in German. I would have liked more in French/English but Google translate via the excellent WIFI was very useful. Would recommend this prime property and location to everyone."
