"we went a little beyond our normal hotel stays and booked a queen suite; we were not disappointed. The room was huge, having a separate bedroom made it very comfortable. The large counter in the bathroom was very helpful. Staff was very friendly and helpful, check-in and out were easy. The grounds were clean and well maintained with a courtyard and fire pit out back. The lobby/bar/restaurant area was huge and very nice. It's about a mile on foot to downtown Lake Placid (uphill) so think hard before trying. We would strongly recommend this facility and will stay here again."

"Lovely cabin that was perfect for two. Very clean and quiet. Loved the property and watching the chickens run through their area. Rain kept us from enjoying a campfire, but we will next time for sure"

"House was awesome. We had 3 couples and it was very nice we had a bathroom with each bedroom. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. From plates , glasses, pots and pans to spices. Very well stocked with everything needed for our trip. Very spacious with the 3 levels. Bathrooms were very nice with towels and shampoos. Even had washer and dryer with supplies if needed.Would definitely stay here again and refer it to friends."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Lake Placid chalet! It was the perfect place for our family to spend time together, relax, and make lasting memories. The chalet was warm, welcoming, and truly felt like a home away from home.The location provided a wonderful home base for everything we wanted to experience, including fishing, Whiteface Mountain, High Falls Gorge, and exploring the surrounding area. After each day’s adventures, we loved returning to the comfort and peacefulness of the chalet.We are incredibly grateful to our host for sharing such a special place with us. Our time there meant so much to our family, and we would happily stay again."
