The Loft House - a beautiful 3 storey cottage

"The Loft House is perfectly located in Mousehole for a real immersion in life in the village. It was very clean and simply lovely. The setup inside has made smart use of every square inch of the property. (The property is chock full of stairs and it might be helpful to know that in order to entire the cottage, you’ll need to climb a flight of granite steps outside. This will deposit you into the living room (with a deck off the back). The main bedroom with a 1/2 bath en suite is up one flight of stairs and the kitchen and second bedroom with two twin are down a flight of stairs)."

"It’s a pretty little cottage in a good location. The parking is slightly difficult but there are car parks near by. The house had a slightly musty smell downstairs. There are way too many trinkets about and the middle bedroom is pretty small it has a double bed but there is very little space around it. The showers are pretty bad with very little pressure. I was surprised that we had to strip our own beds at the end of our stay. There are some excellent fish restaurants in Mousehole and the village is very pretty"

"We had a great week at The Haybarn. The accomodation was clean, comfortable, spacious and perfect! There was only 2 of us so we had loads of room. A great base for exploring some of the South West coast path and some of the surrounding towns and villages. Mousehole is one of our favourite Cornwall places. It was only spoiled by having to leave, or else we would still be there now!! Would definitely recommend!!"

"We stayed for a week in August and fell in love with Mousehole.The little house is very neat,well kept, clean and with the kitchen and living room upstairs you can enjoy a wonderful view of the sea. There’s every applaince available you might need for cooking You definitely get your money‘s worth and the proximity to the little center of the town is great. Parking is an issue everywhere in Mousehole, and if you can avoid it, don‘t take your car through the center next to the harbour,as the streets are extremely narrow. That‘s also an advantage of this location: you can avoid that hassle and if you‘re lucky, you find a place to park round the corner without two double yellow lines (where parking is not allowed). The garage is so extremely small that I doubt anything but an Isetta will fit in. A normal sized car for 4 peaple will not. If you can book it, do it. We would come back any time."
