"What a wonderful stop on our trip! The property was beautiful and Edele and Alessio were so attentive to our needs. We had a seven course tasting menu and breakfast prepared by Sonia Russell and Louise Hynes. The food at both meals was so delicious and there was so much attention to detail. One dish, the pea and mint soup, brought tears to my wife’s eyes. The house and rooms were beautifully decorated and we were very comfortable. We cannot say enough about The Blackwell House. "Lovely staff, large rooms, comfortable and clean beds, great atmosphere in a fantastic location within walking distance of all the sites. I’d happily stay there again, although the great atmosphere does mean it’s a bit dated, there are lots of stairs and the elevator wasn’t working when I was there. Food was great and lots of restaurants are close by, the breakfast will keep you going and there are vegetarian options. If you have not visited Armagh, seat of both the Catholic and Church of Ireland bishops, each with an amazing cathedral, not to mention the Armagh Observatory, it is a must visit location in beautiful Northern Ireland."
