"Parking is tricky, but we found a free parking lot close by. Check-in was easy and Livia was a gem full of helpful tips and resources. Check out - the front desk guy wasn’t very helpful. We paid the city tax in cash and wanted our change in coins - just a few coins to use in town- very much needed in Italy and he wasn’t willing to provide coins or even break a ten. He offered no assistance. Overall the room, spa and property is nice. No restaurant during off season, but the breakfast provided was excellent."

"Absolutely loved this was in the historic area. Walking with your luggage is necessary as there is no parking close to the entrance, but it doesn't matter, because the location is beautiful, the garden us beautiful, the facilities are very comfortable, the host was awesome and met us to take us to the front door and he was incredibly helpful. "This was such a great find! We loved the experience of living in the heart of the old city, and found Colle to be charming, interesting, and not overrun by tourists. The home itself is lovely (it's got its quirks, like slightly iffy plumbing, but is clearly a beloved home with a charming personality), with wonderful views, comfortable spaces, and a kitchen that works fine for cooking at home if desired. Communication with Laura was good and the check-in and checkout process were easy. Grazie mille, Laura!"

"Overall, a decent place to stay near San Gimignano with lovely surroundings. The property has a beautiful garden and pool are and the breakfast was decent. That said, I was frustrated with the check-in process, the receptionist was also helping in the kitchen during dinner hour, so I had to wait quite a while to be checked in. Additionally, there was no one available to help with luggage, so I ended up carrying my bags up to the second floor myself. If you’re looking for a peaceful countryside stay with pretty grounds and don’t mind a bit of self-service, it’s a fine option. But service could be more attentive and organized, especially at check-in."
