"Stayed here one night before hiking Mount Fuji. Was the perfect accommodation for us. The area was safe and beautiful. Plenty of dining options around. Transportation was very easy to and from the bus station."

"Perfect if you want an old-fashioned, really traditional Japanese inn experience. Shared public bath, views of the lake, futon bedding in tatami rooms (sit on the floor), breakfast is hot rice with a raw egg or ochazuke… it’s hard to find places like that anymore. And the bus to wherever you want to go stops either at the hotel or across the street."

"Amazing stay. Comfortable beds. Shower had great water pressure. Bathroom was great. Did not try the restaurant. But the staff is amazing. Helped me get bus routes and restaurant recommendations. And was very accommodating. Highly highly recommend."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful lakeside hotel in Japan. Waking up to a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji and the lake was something we’ll never forget. The room was spacious, comfortable, and easily accommodated our family of four. One of our favorite parts of the stay was relaxing in the sauna and hot tub after a day of exploring and hiking to the top of Mt. Fuji . It was the perfect way to unwind while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The self-check-in process on the iPad was quick, simple, and made everything incredibly easy. If you’re looking for a quiet, authentic Japanese getaway with incredible scenery and excellent amenities, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. The combination of the lake, the stunning Mount Fuji views, and the relaxing spa facilities made this one of the highlights of our trip. We would gladly stay here again!"

"The hotel was great value for money. Rooms were clean, and offered either a view of Mt Fuji or of Lake Yamanaka, and both were great. The hotel was in a great location, and was in walking distance of a number of restaurants. The area was quiet and had a small country town feel."

"If you are looking for a wonderful unique experience in Japan, you have to stay here, the pods themselves are incredible for the room you get within them and the amenities that are provided. The bath rooms were exceptional however the best thing has to be the staff. Their friendliness and attentiveness is second to none that I’ve ever experienced. Whilst using one of their hire bikes I accidentally broke the lock so they drove 20 mins to pick me up and told me they would fix it and not to worry. As I was leaving to the bus stop I was heading to the incorrect stop so the man came down in his car to pick me up and drove me to the correct stop. Thank you so much and if i return to Japan I will 100% return here again"
