Pessimo

Prenotazione effettuata online e prepagata, due famiglie con bambini. Al nostro arrivo non risultava nulla, ne' la prenotazione ne' c'era disponibilita' di stanze. Ci sono volute 3 ore per trovare una soluzione, senza possibilita' di parlare con i responsabili. Nessuno della direzione si e' degnato di chiedere scusa. Riguardo alle stanze che ci hanno assegnate: pessime condizioni e scarsa pulizia. Vistose macchie di umidita' e stucco sulle pareti Soppalco interno, toilette al piano superiore e doccia al piano inferiore, scomodo in particolare per chi ha bambini. L'unico aspetto positivo e' la posizione e la vicinanza al lungomare.

Misleading and unsafe

We reconfirmed our booking for 2 apartments with kitchenettes several times. When we called several hours before arrival they didn’t speak English and we got worried they’d lost our reservation. We had an Italian speaker call and they kept ya on hold for a long time but confirmed they had our reservation. We arrived just after dark. The street outside was dirty and unsafe looking. A non English speaking (but friendly) desk clerk directed us into a dingy parking garage where we had to pay E50 for 2 nights upfront. After that we were told in sign language and with google translation help they had oversold and gave away our 2 apartments. The clerk led our group of kids and senior citizens 20 mins walk past dumpsters/skips of garbage, along a street that smelled of human urine to a huge old building that mostly held hair salons and professional offices that were closed. They had us sleep the night in some kind of air B&B. The rooms were clean but it was not what we paid for. No kitchen. No private apartment. 3 or 4 keys needed to get out of building and it was deserted and scary. Tried to get out to buy food and couldn’t get the street door key to work so stayed inside and skipped dinner in case we couldn’t get back in. Met other tenant of building who confirmed he had same issue. Dangerous Scaffolding over the main door holding up crumbling building. Left next morning with help of Hotels.com helpful customer service.

Deludente!

Prenotati due monolocali basic di cui uno uguale alla foto del sito come struttura ma assolutamente non come colori luminosita' e bellezza l'altro completamente diverso anzichè monolocale una stanza minuscola caldissima condizionatore non utilizzabile mancanza di telecomando. Cosa più grave è che all'arrivo non trovavano la nostra prenotazione!!

Non lontano dal porto per le isole; per il centro considerare almeno un 45min. a piedi o il treno (linea blu) da e per piazza Amedeo (10-15 min. a piedi). Silenzioso. Un po' stretto per 4 persone, comodo per 2. Abbondanza di locali e negozi nei dintorni. D'estate, immagino, 2 min. a piedi e scendete sul lungomare per passeggiate e cena.

Good spot to explore Naples from

Found staff helpful and apartments very near to Amedeo metro station allowing easy & cheap access to other areas of Naples and also direct line to Pompeii. Situation is a bit different in with a residential block but probably more authentic to the locality. Breakfast was perfectly good and we enjoyed our stay.

Soggiorno di 3 notti in una camera grande con soppalco e cucina (attrezzature della cucina limitate). Il B&B si trova in una zona abbastanza vicina al centro tanto che è velocemente raggiungibile a piedi (o con la linea ferroviaria da Piazza Amedeo). Economico e con buona colazione inclusa. Perfecto hotel y Ciro

Hotel perfecto en cuanto a calidad/precio. Muy buen desayuno, productos frescos y buen cafe. Apartamento con todas las comodidades. Zona cerca del metro (a 1 parada) y del centro, tranquila. Ciro siempre encantado de ayudarte para hacer tu estancia lo mejor posible. Recomendado 100%.

Jour de l'an Napolitain.

Un B&B fort sympathique, dans l'ambiance Napolitaine. Un grand remerciement pour l'accueil, et particulièrement Ciro, qui est très disponible et toujours prêt à rendre service. Nous avons passé, le nouvel an dans une très bonne atmosphère. L’hôtel est à 20 minutes à pied du Castel dell'Ovo. Un quartier vivant et dépaysant. Pour ceux qui ont une voiture, il est préférable de prendre une place dans le parking au bout de la rue, car les places sont peu nombreuses. De très bons souvenirs du sud de l'Italie. A recommander.

Très bonne adresse

Nous avons passé une semaine à Naples pour le nouvel an avec des amis. Le BandB Mergellina est très bien situé, difficile à trouver à l'arrivée mais Ciro et son équipe sont très accueillants et disponibles pour faciliter notre séjour. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent! Si nous revenons à Naples, nous y séjournerions à nouveau ;-)

Disponible et chaleureux : vivement recommandé !

Merveilleux séjour dans ce B&B. Les apparts se trouvent au 4ème étage. Attention : l'ascenseur coûte 10 cts/trajet. Notre appart était très spacieux avec mezzanine. Propreté : parfait ! Le coin sauna + la chaise massante se trouve au 2ème étage : c'est un plus mais très étroit. Le petit-déj se prend au rez-de-chaussée à côté de la réception : correct mais le menu reste toujours le même. Tout le personnel se montre souriant, à l'écoute et disponible : ils donnent de bonnes idées de lieux à découvrir. Mes amis et moi, nous vous recommandons vivement ce b&b ! Ils se plient en quatre pour satisfaire toutes les demandes. De plus, le quartier est très sûr comparé au quartier de la gare centrale. Près du bord de mer (pas de sable fin, il s'agit plus de rochers). Beaucoup de commerces aux alentours et de bons restos ! Tout peut se faire à pied. A proximité des bus + métro ! Service : canoë/kayak proposé sur leur site à faire absolument

Good value for money and frindly staff

We enjoyed our stay in B&B Mergellina. It was easy to reach by Metro and the reception was friendly and we had all the information and tips we needed. All the staff members we met were great, altough their english was not perfect but still they served you the best way possible. The Breakfast is typical italian, croissant and coffee. I would have hoped some yoghurt and fruits but because you have a freezer and small kitchen in your room you can by the things you need from the supermarket near by and make what ever you like.

Grosse déception..

Nous nous attendions à avoir une jolie chambre comme celles présentées sur les nombreuses photos mais ce fut très loin d’être le cas.. Nous en avons eu une bleu très ancienne et défraichie. La clim ne refroidissait rien, il fallait dormir avec le ventilateur non-stop, la SDB était minuscule et très ancienne avec un vieux rideau de douche tout sale, le lavabo était à 3/4 bouché, la tv minuscule avec la télécommande cassée, des ampoules pétées.. etc. Bref, amèrement déçu.

Un lieu agréable

B&B recommandable...

Ces quelques nuits à Naples à B&B Mergellina nous ont été très agréable grâce à la sympathie et l’accueil de Ciro et Emanuele et de sa sœur Gaia : une italienne francophone qui par ses conseils et sa gentillesse ont rendu notre petit séjour profitable… Merci. L’hôtel est à 10 minutes à pied du centre et à quelques minutes de la mer.
