Local flavour in Centro Historico
My stay at Mirko’s place in Sanità was wonderful. The location is near all the Centro historico sights you can easily get anywhere from the Piazza Cavour. Yet it is off the beaten track and staying here will immerse you the neighbourhood like a real Neapolitan. The Sanità area is real deal. The apartment is large enough and has all the amenities you will need. It was renovated a while ago, so expect local down to earth simplicity. There is a lovely view of mount Vesuvius from the master bedroom window. The communication Mirko was easy and he was very accommodating. He was very helpful and did all to make sure I had a great trip.

It was okay
This Vrbo was okay. Not exactly what my friends and I had expected. Upon arrival, we got a cab from Piazza Garibaldi. The cab driver could not find the address and had to ask about 4 locals where to find it. If you have big luggages, be prepared for a bit of a hike up in cobblestones. For check in, Mirko gave detailed instructions which was very helpful. The place had an odd smell to it upon entering. Immediately had to open windows for airflow. The beds were not very comfy, the comforters had hair all over them and were oddly discoloured. The bathroom was okay, does what it needs but the shower drain isn't working properly. You also have to face the shower curtain so that you don't get the floor wet. Location was nice, had a very local and authentic feel. Piazza Cavour was about 10-15 min walk which allows you to access all major public transpo, and taxis also hung out there. My girl friends and I, however, felt very very unsafe walking around the area at night. We made sure we were home before nightfall as it quickly became very sketchy in the alleyways. Take it how it is, but we decided to leave 1 night early to find another place to stay in.

Gentile Jenny, Casetta Miradois ti ringrazia e ti ricorda che tutti gli aspetti logistici sono spiegati e descritti sulla piattaforma Vbro. Casetta Miradois propone un turismo integrato alla cultura locale anche rispetto al territorio. Napoli é una cittá che si sviluppa in collina e gran parte dei vicoli e delle strade sono in pendenza a volte con scale che accorciano i percorsi. Il quartiere Storico dei Miracoli vicino la Sanitá é molto tranquillo e frequentato da abitanti locali, non ci sono zone affollate e turistiche e si può passeggiare in tranquillità a qualsiasi ora. Good apartment in a real neighbourhood
The apartment was easy to find and access with lots of detail given by the owner, including photos, to help. It looked just as it did in the photos and was clean. The shower was excellent, good pressure. We really liked the neighbourhood, with the washing hanging out on the streets, lemon trees, the little local shops, cafes and the market stalls. It was a good location, about 10 mins to the metro, or just carry on walking to explore Naples. The only problem we had is that the only bed that was made up was the double bed. I had booked this properly because I was traveling with my teenage son and as it had two bedrooms he could have his own space. I did contact the owner about getting bedding for one of the single beds but he said that wasn't possible. We managed with sharing a bed but it is advertised as two bedroom and that would have been much better. It was also good when on the second morning (of a three night stay) the heating came on - there was an air-conditioner/heater but it was only in one bedroom. This made it much more comfortable in the apartment (it gets quite chilly in February) and helped make the bathroom drier. Overall it was a good apartment and we enjoyed our time in Napoli.

Great value for price!
Apartment was clean and cozy with all necessary amneties. The host was helpful and self check-in ran smoothly. The location is OK, 10 min walk to the metro, bit more to the center. It is a bit uphill so arriving with luggage is somewhat tiresome. The neighbourhood is peaceful. Just a few tiny problems: there single beds were a little uncomfortable and drain in the shower didn't work perfectly. All in all, grrat value for price and ideal for low-budget travellers.

Short stay in Naples
My husband and I stayed at the property for 2 nights and our host was great, with many recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Make sure to have a small car if you’re driving or a small taxi to get there as the road is very narrow. We walked from the apartment all around Naples. Would recommend!

Apartment was clean and Mirko was good with his help and communication. Only downside was the walk to the Apartment from the main street and we were a bit surprised about all the rubbish/waste all over the streets. Otherwise a good little base for exploring Naples. There is no living space just 2 rooms and a kitchen/dining area.

Great base for seeing Naples
This affordable apartment resides in a sweet neighborhood of real Neapolitans. You won't see other tourists, only kind and generous residents of Naples. There are several markets and shops nearby offering staples of life and lovely vegetables and groceries. Both Metro lines are available down the hill in Piazza Cavour. The roads can feel like a twisty maze at first, but you can make sense of them quickly. The apartment is a great base for seeing Naples. The kitchen has dishes, utensils, pans, and a Bialetti coffee pot. A larger cutting board would be nice, and the oven wasn't working. Mirko is great--he gave me his personal address since I didn't have a working cell phone to call him on arrival. He provided info and restaurant/tourist suggestions and was easily reached with questions.

Quiet apartment in historic neighborhood
Good sized apartment in a historic building located in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Naples. The perfect place to stay if you want to be immersed in the culture. Close to all of the major historic sites and Museums. Plus street markets, shops and restaurants.

Situé en haut de la Sanita. Calme mais difficile d’accès pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Quartier typique et populaire très proche de Piazza Cavour, et de la Sanita commerçante. Quelques efforts à faire pour l’équipement de cuisine qui est trop juste pour une famille. Mais bon, autant manger à l’extérieur lorsque nous sommes à Naples !

A éviter !
Appartement difficile à trouver, propreté salle de bain et vaisselle mauvaise. J'ai du faire la vaisselle avant de manger, une casserole inutilisable tellement de calcaire, poêle à 2 doigts de casser, appartement très sombre et tres petit. Quartier style "cour des miracles". Naples a de beaux bâtiments et sites à visiter mais c'est très bruyant, tres sale. Mieux vaut prendre un hébergement à Caserta qui n'est qu'à 30 minutes en train. Bref tres déçue de l'hébergement et de l'ambiance.

Gentile Ospite, Grazie, terremo presente la sua recensione, ma vorremmo precisare che: Il bagno di Casetta Miradois viene sempre sanificato con prodotti certificati e mai ci sono state recensioni negative a riguardo; Il deposito di calcare sulle pentole non é indice di poca pulizia ma di durezza dell' acqua della zona; Per essere al primo piano in 50mq, dove si vede il Vesuvio, c' é più luce di quanto si possa immaginare; Napoli tra i tanti pregi ha anche alcuni difetti come la scarsa pulizia di alcune zone. Casetta Miradois offre un esperienza autentica fuori dagli standard, un turismo integrato alla cultura locale nello storico Quartiere dei Miracoli e della Sanità, Grazie tante, Cari saluti

Unique experience in Napoli
A very difficult description...communication and support by Mirko was really very good and helpful. Seeing all the good recommendations on this side, i decided to book for us as a family with two little kids in February. The environment around os very authentic, we haven't seen any other non Italians around in a week (just in that part to be clear). Perfect location to walk from and explore the city. The negative points yet need to be mentioned. The shower is very small and you cant really close the curtain sufficiently so everything tends to be very wet afterwards. The last one to shower doesn't get enough warm water either. (We hurried anyways but just not enough). The kitchen equipment is very poor, by far the smallest and oddest equipment I've ever had in my travel life, I mean take like 50Euros to a big swedish company and buy some stuff 😉 Most negative point was unfortunately the heating. It gets quite chilly in those evenings and nights. Although Mirko explained how it should work, the heating switched itself every half hour of (kind of a backup issue), so there should be some improvement. In a short, very helpful and nice host, no doubt about that but not really recommended for a family with little kids. We enjoyed our stay anyway.

Gentili Ospiti grazie, terremo in considerazione i vostri consigli, ci teniamo a precisare peró che la doccia ha acqua calda illimitata perché funziona con una caldaia a gas e se non sei attento a tenere la tendina internamente al piatto doccia sicuramente l acqua esce fuori; il riscaldamento si attiva automaticamente accendendo il termostato e se si desidera basta alzare la temperatura di qualche grado, in 5miniti la casa é calda; provvederemo a fornire ulteriori utensili da cucina oltre a quelli presenti utili per 4 persone Grazie

bon séjour a Naples
Il ne faut pas craindre de loger dans un quartier très populaire , au sommet de ruelles très pentues , encombrées de vespas et scooters très agités . Le logement est peu équipé , mais le propriétaire est disponible par téléphone . Nous , cela nous avons bien aimé , mais ne peut pas plaire à tout le monde Naples est une ville époustouflante !!

Nette Wohnung aber falsch beschrieben
Wegbeschreibung war gut. Die Wohnung war einfach zu finden. Das Problem dabei war der holprige und steile Weg bergauf welcher so nicht beschrieben wurde. Sogar ohne Koffer ist man nach dem Weg durchgeschwitzt. In der Wohnung angekommen kommt einem, trotz der sauberen Haltung ein leichter Schimmelgeruch entgegen, welcher auf Dauer sehr unangenehm wurde. Das zweite Zimmer liegt zwischen dem ersten Zimmer und dem Badezimmer. Dies macht das Leben in der Wohnung auch unter Freunden eher unangenehm. Ebenso sind beide Zimmer zwar durch eine Tür getrennt, oberhalb davon ist jedoch eine Lücke in der Wand. Somit hört man alles vom anderen Zimmer. Die Dusche war ebenfalls mangelhaft. Verschimmelte Fliesen und der nicht normal abfließende Abfluss waren kein schönes Erlebnis. Die Nachbarn waren sehr angenehm, da man nicht viel von ihnen mitbekommen hat. Trotzdem kam es in einer Woche drei mal vor dass gegen Mitternacht laute Stimmen und Kinderschreie uns geweckt haben. Trotz alldem war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung. Das lag wahrscheinlich aber eher an Neapel. Die Wohnung kann ich nur Leuten empfehlen, die sich von all diesen Punkten nicht stören lassen.

Dear Guest, Naples is a city that develops on hills, most of the streets in the center are uphill and downhill, the houses are made of local volcanic stone, yellow tuff which, with high temperatures and humidity, releases a natural odor which is not mould. Ottima posizione dell'appartamento nel rione sanità vicino alla pasticceria dove si mangiano i fiocchi di neve. Appartamento pulito, facile entrare e molto pratico anche lasciare le chiavi al termine del soggiorno. È stato facile muoversi a piedi verso i luoghi di maggiore interesse. Lo consiglio per un futuro soggiorno.

Bon emplacement au calme
Location propre et bien agencée, au calme et donnant sur une cour. Par contre, il manquait des rideaux occultants dans la chambre des enfants. La rue pour accéder à l'immeuble est étroite donc il faut être vigilant aux scooters. Enfin, l'emplacement est très bien, car il permet la proximité avec beaucoup de quartiers. Pour terminer Mirko était très réactif.

La primera impresion es mala, llegamos en taxi con dificultad, los alrrededores sucios y la casa por fuera muy mal Dentro entras y está la cocina y la mesa de comer, pasas a una habitacion pequeña de dos camas y continua a otra de una cama con un baño grande, no asi la ducha

Querido invitado, lo sentimos, pero Casetta Miradois no gestiona los ambientes externos del apartamento y en el distrito de Miracoli las calles son estrechas, hay que explicar cuidadosamente a los taxis a dónde ir, es parte del contexto histórico.. saludos

Anyone who loves Naples will love this small apartment. Not posh, not luxurious, but with exactly the flair of the city. And the tourist hustle and bustle only begins 500m away. You should be good on foot and don't expect a "hotel". For everyone else: perfect.

Die Unterkunft liegt mitten im Treiben von Neapel, in den Gassen der Einheimischen, und hat sogar einen Blick auf den Vesuv in weiter Entfernung. Sie ist keine "Schickimicki"-Unterkunft in dem Sinne, sie war stattdessen sehr authentisch, liebevoll gestaltet und gut ausgestattet mit Gasherd, Tee und Stadtplänen. Das Lebensgefühl von Neapel lässt sich hier gut erleben.

Appartement tres tranquille (et oui dans cette ville tres bruyante!)et bien situé. Je recommande!
J'ai aimé la situation... on s'habitue à la côte mais pas adaptée à tous! J'ai aussi aimé la tranquillité , le quartier populaire (malgré les nombreux déchets !). Je recommande ce logement dont le rapport qualité-prix-situation-calme est tres bon. Deux souhaits : un meilleur nettoyage des moisissures dans la douche et son rideau. Ausdi un numéro sur l'immeuble et connaitre un numero d'appartement pour l'arrivée !😉

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht, bietet genügend Platz und ist so wie beschrieben. Der Weg zur Wohnung ist allerdings recht steil und anstrengend. Das Viertel ist etwas heruntergekommen und arm, aber sehr authentisch für Neapel. Die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel und das Zentrum sind ok, man läuft etwa 15 Minuten zur U-Bahn Station. Der Selbst-Check-in war sehr unkompliziert und Mirko war immer erreichbar.
