Easy place to stay in Napoli

Napoli is ... busy, the Hotel Suite Ares is in a great location for exploring the city and an easy walk to Centrale and Circumvesuviana train stations.

Stay there for sure

I recommend visitors to stay there. Hotel has all you need i.e., comfort, perfect placement, friendly stuff, good breakfast, etc.

The staff are top notch, very helpful with dining recommendations, sight seeing and travel arrangements. Even though the property is a bit dated it is a great place to stay and conveniently located.

I really would have preferred to rate this higher because the staff is so incredibly nice; however, there were bugs in the shower, so for that I have to reflect 1 star. Outside of that, the hotel is located near good food and seems to be in a decent location.

Beautiful

The man at the front desk was amazing with giving recommendations for what to see and where to eat. He made us feel very welcome. The room was beautful and clean. I wish we had stayed more than one night

We had a late arrival and were please that hotel did offer us a late check in, breakfast was also included. The staff were professional and friendly and the area itself is comparable safe and not far from city centre. We enjoyed our stay!

A very convenient and safe place to stay in Napoli, next to the train and bus station, airport and the port. Really close to Spaccanapoli too! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was really friendly and very helpful, especially Aorlando and Nuncio!!

Wonderful hotel. We were a family of four and were pleasantly surprised to find that we had two rooms with en-suites instead of one! Conveniently located in the centre of Naples. We missed the breakfast and staff were very kind to allow us to take some pastries!

Dark, Dingy and Musty

Dark, dingy and smelled musty. Staff was kind. Our bed was very uncomfortable and only one pillow. Our shower flooded and went into the tiny bedroom. Disappointed that the other reviews did not reflect this. We only stayed one night and then were able to change hotels.

Great value hotel in Naples

Hotel suite ares is a great value hotel in Naples! The location is great for taking the train, as it’s just 10min from the station. However, the area itself isn’t as quiet or beautiful as other parts of Naples. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Nunzio!

Location wise very convenient, walkable to the main train station and also to the old town. Price wise was very reasonable too. The drawback being the room was rather small and the fittings were a little dated.

Overall, this hotel was ok. Clean. Our refrigerator wasn’t working and it was over 90 degrees Fahrenheit. We were told someone from staff would look at it, but didn’t. Our items were lukewarm. Staff was helpful regarding restaurant choices, etc. Room was dark and kind of dingy.

The young receptionist staff was very friendly and helpful. The middle-aged receptionist was neither friendly nor helpful. We arrived early from the airport and he would not allow for early check in. He would not allow us to access the rooftop lounge area as seen in the website images. When arranging for a taxi ride to the airport He failed to inform us of the Naples airport hours. Luckily one of the young receptionist informed us , thereby preventing us from waiting outside the airport at 3a for an hour. The daily breakfast buffet was not offered at the hotel. We were informed that we could use the breakfast buffet at another hotel that was 18 minute walk away. However, the room was cleaned very well daily. The hotel’s location is very good, near the Duomo metro. Plenty of dining options nearby.

Great place to stay if you plan travelling a lot from Naples. Central railway station is 10 min walk away and with near metro you get to port in 15min. Breakfast was good too. My only complaint was that the room minibar was not cold.

Sea View was an excellent experience from start to finish. The apartment was stunning. It appeared as though we were there first tenants. It was bright, airy and immaculate. The view was outstanding and the location could not be beat. Just a 5 minute walk to the train, across the street from shopping and restaurants all around. Amedeo was an amazing host. He could not do enough for us. He provided us with all the info we could want and was extremely gracious. He even carried our bags and arranged for transport to the airport. Overall an awesome experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Sea View.

Huge room in a rough area

Very kind and helpful personnel. Super easy access to metro and Hop on Hop off Bus, BUT in a very dirty and rough part of town. It did not feel unsafe, but unpleasant to walk around. Huge room with separate areas for family traveling together. Unswept floors, mold-smelly bathroom and fabric shower curtain. Great A/C and the only hotel during our trip that allowed us individual room control temperature in April. Decent free breakfast.
