"Overall a great place for a family vacation. In a nice location with the lakefront and pool. Also a path that leads to another public beach. It was my first time staying and I didn’t feel the desk staff helpful on check in - ie just points to the elevator saying my room is on the 2nd floor, said there’s underground parking and you can park anywhere. When I went underground most have reserved spots so I went back for clarification, “anywhere” means one of the few spots that aren’t reserved. Then they were annoyed when I asked how to get to the beach. The rest of the staff were nice and helpful, just the first impression with the young guy at the desk after travelling 9 hours was not very welcoming or helpful. I had a lake view which was amazing. Deck was very large. Room was clean and had a kitchen. Neighbour clearly lived there, their deck was filled with plants and the smell of incense coming from next door was off putting. AC wasn’t working well on the last day so it got incredibly hot and hard to sleep. No windows to open just the doors, but with the bats flying around at night that wasn’t an option. I think the price is a little high for what you get but I would come again just for the proximity to lake and wineries. And the view!"

Balcomo, a Ramada by Wyndham

"Our room was a unit 228 (double Queen) on the 2nd level with a small balcony looking over the pool area. We had a tree blocking our view, but some might like the privacy. I found the room to be really sound proof for a motel. The updated room was clean and comfortable. The a/c worked well. Staff was friendly. You could have your room made up daily. The fridge, coffee maker and bar sink were nice to have. (A microwave would have been a lovely addition!) We ate dinner next door which was good and enjoyed the pool/ hot tub. Some larger families were on the ground floor playing the yard games and and looked to be having a wonderful time. Parking lot secured by gate. I grew up in Penticton and am familiar with the area. Close enough to the beach, you could take a evening stroll over, but on a hot day with beach gear, I would drive. Next time I might like to book a room facing the golf course for something different."

Hotel Eldorado at Eldorado Resort

"Room was beautiful, staff was friendly and helpful. No complaints at all, other than they have two EV chargers (which is su h a nice surprise.) however we were unable to charge our car due to an older gas fuelled Toyota 4 Runner that parked there. I checked back every few hours thinking that they might be dining. I asked the hotel front desk lady if she could look up the licence plate and ask them to Kindly move to one of the many open spaces that existed at 8:30pm but she would not/could not help me. We tried charging at the sister hotel, Manteo but there charger did not work. Oh well. Maybe a sign that says no parking unless you’re charging may help. Like I said - lovely property, cheerful staff, beautiful room. But I really needed a charge after driving from Vancouver."

"The breakfast is good and nice! The location is perfect! But hotel cannot provide Anti-Slip Rubber Bath Tub Mat is disappointing, actually very dangerous for all people, my son slipped down when step in the tub and I also nearly fell."

"This is a wonderful, clean and very well run hotel. I have stayed here before and the service and facilities are fantastic. The restaurant Has great food and it is particularly nice and comfortable to enjoy even as a woman travelling alone. The coffee bar in the lobby is great (free every morning) and the gym has a good selection of workout equipment. The rooms are well appointed and also clean. Thank you Four Points Sheraton!"
