Gibbesi country farm large cottage

In the heart of the Sicilian countryside, large cottage is an old farmhouse, adjacent to a small rural chapel, part of the Gibbesi feud, which overlooks the family estate, of about 80 hectares. The work of restoration of the house, carried out preferring natural essences and local materials, ended in 2014. The simple furnishings and neutral colors give the house a sober and elegant atmosphere. The pride of the house is the lush private garden, surrounded by a stone fence, which leads to the pool area.

Stunningly beautiful and oh so peaceful…

Highlight of my Sicily travels. A great place to chill. An hour’s drive from many sites. Pool to cool down. Wonderful outdoor space. Giorgio was friendly and helpful. Took some determination to find it but so glad I did. Would appreciate a larger espresso pot- such a small problem in an almost perfect world.

I cannot recommend due to lack of cleanliness

I understand the importance of gubbessi . Old remote building out in the sticks nothing for miles . But I've been there twice. First time we enjoyed the old building. But second visit was like we went a week later from first visit . Meaning nothing had mean done to tidy up the grummie place. It would take or cost much to fix above review . Friday morning the adults went out to shop leaving the youngest one to use pool they came out and saw strangers in our pool they didn't even introduce there self's. Just using our property we hired . So they couldn't go out in the pool . Same happened Saturday after we told goergio it wasn't exceptable. And they still used it. Poeple have to kn whatbto except .when they go . If u have no taste or exceptations this is the place to be . We where trying to found a place we could go back wvery yr . But not this time . If u taking all our money all yr round . U should invest a little to tidy the place up . It would cost much or take to long ro paint the inside of the building . Paint the pool . Fix all the plumbing. (Leaks) . Jet spray all the floors out side and inside. All bins stink and lid broken . .bin in large cottage broken rips the bags overtime ubtake it out of bin . The cutlery is cheap and horrible to the mouth . 2 euro cutlery set . Wooden spoons still has old tomato sauce stains on it.

Das Anwesen ist wunderschön restauriert. Wir hatten einen privaten Garten und genossen vor allem die Ruhe. Mein Wunsch den Hund weg zusperren wurde berücksichtigt, da ich eine Hundephobie habe.

Smukt renoveret mindre hus i idyliske omgivelser

Et meget velrenoveret hus på toppen af en bakke med den skønneste udsigt både fra stue og 1. sal. En dejlig swimmingpool, som var ok, men ville være ideel til endnu mindre børn, da den ene halvdel var meget lav. Det var dejligt at der stod en lille velkomstpakke med både lidt mad, vand og vin efter køreturen. Vi blev meget godt og venligt modtaget, og da vi spurgte om vej til det nærmeste supermarked, kørte Giorgio foran os hele vejen derned. Og igen: den skønneste udsigt fra et hus, som rummer alt til fire personer!
