The service from the staff was immaculate. Gorgeous view of Mt Fuji. Clean and comfortable. The outdoor bath tub and sauna were very enjoyable. A little far from things to do, so it is better to have a car or be prepared for taxis or walking. We had a great stay, highly recommend.

The main feature of this property is the exquisite view of Mount Fuji and the privacy and serenity of very limited access. That said, the staff are warm and very attentive. The food was excellent and delightfully prepared and presented. The communal bath (which is by reservation) is architecturally interesting and offers a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. Our two days here may have been the quiet highlight of our trip to Japan.

It was one the most amazing stays of my wanderlust life. The atmosphere, personnel, food, installations and of course the view. We were able to see the Mt. Fuji all the way to the top! Our two meals were something else. The private hot springs are so peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Our stay at The Sense Fuji was a highlight of our trip to Japan. We would have stayed longer if time allowed. The property is beautiful with incredible views of Mt. Fuji. The private onsen is relaxing and the food was great. The service was perfect and helped us with whatever we needed. Cannot wait to come back.

Our stay at Sense Fuji was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the team delivered a level of hospitality that truly set this experience apart. We were warmly welcomed with drinks before being transported by golf cart to our private glamping site—an incredible setup at the base of Mount Fuji, with stunning views to wake up to while enjoying your morning coffee. Every detail was thoughtfully curated. The provided pajamas and slippers added a luxurious touch, and the hot tub and sauna were perfectly prepared for a relaxing evening upon arrival. It felt like a seamless blend of nature and comfort. In the morning, we were treated to a beautifully prepared traditional breakfast delivered right to our cabin—an unforgettable way to start the day. The staff throughout our stay were phenomenal—genuinely kind, attentive, and always going above and beyond. What truly solidified this as a standout experience was their extraordinary service after checkout. In the rush to our next destination, I accidentally left behind my bag containing my passport and wallet. After contacting the hotel, the team went out of their way to personally deliver my belongings to our next location. That level of care, honesty and dedication is incredibly rare and deeply appreciated. I cannot recommend Sense Fuji enough. If you’re visiting Mount Fuji—or Japan in general—this is an absolute must-stay

A little slice of heaven

We booked the barrel suana cabin, it was a cute little cabin with an outdoor bath tub and wood fired sauna. All the staff were so professional, polite and friendly especially ishigawa and keiko. We are definitely coming back on our next trip to Japan. This place is a little piece of heaven . I recommend booking the private hot springs and suana. My compliments to all the staff , management and owner. EXCELLENT!!!!!

This was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. There was no difficulty communicating with them at all. The accommodations were gorgeous. Very modern and clean with Japanese touches to it. Our villa had a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji and waking up to that view is something out of a dream. The staff cooked dinner and breakfast for us which was divine. Once we were ready to checkout, the staff gave us a ride to our taxi via golf cart and sent us on our way with big smiles. If you’re thinking about staying here, absolutely do it! You will not regret it!

We had an incredible experience at The Sense Fuji from start to finish. The staff met us at the train station with cold water and lavender-scented oshibori towels in the shuttle, setting the tone for a thoughtful and relaxing stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted with drinks and even got to roast marshmallows—such a fun touch! Our room was completely private with a stunning view of Mt. Fuji. The private dinners and breakfasts were absolutely exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to assist us, including arranging taxis whenever needed. The private-use spa and sauna were heavenly, also offering beautiful views. When it was time to leave, we were personally dropped off at the station. We truly can't recommend The Sense Fuji enough—special thanks to Hara, who made our stay even more memorable!

2박을 했는데 1박 후 외출 중 청소를 해주셨는데 테이블 아래 카페트에 떨어진 쓰레기가 그대로 있더라고요. 청소에 조금 신경 써주셨으면 합니다. 그리고 직원분들이 모두 친절해서 정말 기분이 좋았습니다. 날씨가 흐려서 아쉬웠지만 시설이 좋아서 좋았습니다. 벽난로등의 감성이 좋았습니다.

とてもよかったです。温泉がでる部屋風呂も、貸切できるサウナがついた家族風呂もよかったです。お部屋の横で調理してくれるお食事もおいしかったです。インテリアやアメニティも素敵でした。周りに何も視界をさえぎるものなく富士山が楽しめます。標高1000メートル以上ですので、気温差を考えて服装は用意した方がよいです。ベッドのマットレスはやや固めです。
