"Really beautiful facility overlooking Lake Ashie. A two minute walk from the hotel to the Archie Lake boat excursion,and the cable car excursion, which is definitely not to be missed. . "The hotel description is very misleading. The rooms are extremely small, and the double room is one tiny bed (the same size as one bed in a twin room). The decor is extremely outdated, the bathroom is tiny, and you cannot change the heating in the room by yourself meaning it is either too cold or too hot. You need to call reception to adjust the temperature. The Onsen was fine. Definitely very overpriced for what you get."

"This is a beautiful hotel set up on the hill above Lake Yamanaka with a gorgeous view of My Fuji (when not raining)! We only spent one night, but would definitely stay here again! The room was clean and comfortable, the building was clean and maintained, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic!"
