"Really nice hotel, I just wish they had been more flexible with checkout. The hotel did not accommodate my request to check out early when I realized I somehow made a mistake and booked 4 nights instead of 2. That was their policy and I knew that in advance, but it would have been nice and accommodating for the hotel to be more flexible. They also refused to work directly with me and would only work through Expedia which felt impersonal and a little like I was a second class citizen by not booking direct with them. "

Turn right when you exit the hotel, and DongMen market are also steps away. You may have a lower room rate on most weekdays of the month, even better if you book earlier. The negatives: We stayed there in mid March and it was chilly at night. The hotel staff informed us that there was no central heating (the thermostat would control AC only.) They offered us portable heaters, if desired. Older building. Only 1 elevator access. Smaller room with limited space. 4 or 5 hangers on a wall hook to hang your clothes (no closet or door.) Limited housekeeping service for trash removal and towels exchange. "
