Serene Mountain Getaway w/Hot Tub,Pool:25 min to Asheville
10/10 Excellent
"We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely return. It was clean, spacious, comfortable, and had everything our family needed for a relaxing summertime mountain getaway. There was plenty of room for the family and the kids had a great time enjoying the amenities. The hot tub was a perfect way to unwind after a day of activities, and the peaceful setting made it easy to relax and enjoy the mountains. The location was ideal for us. It feels secluded and serene, and you can take scenic drives to Ashville (25m), Biltmore Estate (35m), Lake Lure (1.25h). If you have kids, Highland Brewery is great, as well as the WNC Nature Center (close to each other).A few pro tips for future guests:- Closest grocery store is about 15-20 minutes away, so I recommend doing your shopping on the way to the property, especially for your first day.- Cell service is spotty in the area. Before arriving, take screenshots of your entry code, check-in instructions, and Wi-Fi password. Once connected, the Wi-Fi worked great throughout our stay.- We didn't have any issues with mosquitoes, but because the property is near water, it may be worth packing some insect repellent just in case. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, which made the stay even better. Overall, this was exactly the mountain retreat we were hoping for: peaceful, spacious, family-friendly, and close enough to Asheville to enjoy everything the area has to offer."
The Sugar Creek Chalet | A-Frame on 300+ Acres Near Asheville
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful property for a week away with my family. The house was very clean and had all amenities needed. We cooked several meals in the amazing kitchen . Plenty of room to spread out and explore. Very remote feeling but close enough to civilization. We took several hikes from the house and set up a telescope for stargazing. The drive to the property is up a gravel drive. Was able to make it in a non AWD vehicle in the summer. Just a heads up for winter travel as I probably could not have made it in snow/ice. Water pressure was low but upon inquiring maintenance was out promptly to fix. Amazing house in the mountains that my family would love to return to again!!!"
Hamersmith Hollow Retreat by AvantStay | Mountain Views
10/10 Excellent
"This was our second time staying at this property, and once again we had a great experience. The property is very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We were in the area for work again, and it was a great place to come back to after a long day.We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property. If we’re back in the area again, we will absolutely stay here!"
Amish built A-frame , modern comforts, 20 minutes from Asheville
10/10 Excellent
"This A frame tiny home is the absolute best!Centrally located near downtown Weaverville, many great restaurants we stumbled across. Loved the decor throughout the home as well, you can tell it was thoughtfully put together. Cleanliness was 10/10. The place was immaculate. We hope to come back again!Thank you :)"
Waterfront cabin with mountain views; 26 minutes to downtown Asheville.
10/10 Excellent
"My family and I had the absolute best time! This is a beautiful little cabin in a quiet area. Easily accessible and close to Weaverville, NC which offers a beautiful main st with all the southern mountain charm you could ask for. Make sure to try Twisted Laurel if you head over it is delicious and the patio is pet friendly! We brought 2 teenages and 2 small pups and they had the time of their lives. The homes is very well maintained and we loved opening the windows to enjoy the mid 60's at night in August! There is a family of ducks who wander at night and seeing lightining bugs tickled us all. Thank you to the host for making their space available we will be back! Only thing I would suggest is if you are big cookers like we are bring a little fan for the kitchen it doesnt get as much air flow but it is super well stocked with everything you could need (air fryer basket, slow cooker, griddle, plethora of pots and pans)."

Restored Farmhouse 1920s. Family and Pet Friendly. Borders National forest
10/10 Excellent
"I’ve previously listed superlatives supporting this property. I’ll simply say my wife and I can be a bit pedantic about our accommodations… this was our fifth stay here."
Red Barn Retreat by Carolina Mornings| Pool, Hot Tub & Yoga Studio & Views
10/10 Excellent
"Overall great experience. We loved the home and would definitely rent again. We had issues with the internet, but they did resolve it, although we had to fix it ourselves. They did give us 4 tickets to the Biltmore for our inconvenience of no internet. Everything else was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay and would go again."
