Breathtaking mountain views in a 2-bedroom condo at Wintergreen Resort

  • Wake up to the fresh mountain air in a condo on the edge of the mountain. The most breathtaking sunrises and views of the valley below will be seen from the living room wall of windows and private deck. There is a retro vibe with a record player and old records as well as family games to relax and enjoy the picturesque view. The Wintergreen bus stop is directly outside the door and will take you to the lodge during ski season and holidays on the mountain. Enjoy a wood burning fire in the fireplace on cold, cozy, evenings in. The Nature Foundation, spa, tennis courts and fabulous pizza are within walking distance. There are many hiking trails including the Appalachian Trail and some with waterfalls, just a short drive on and off the Wintergreen property. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a very scenic drive located up the mountain. Amazing wineries, breweries, distilleries and restaurants are located right off the mountain. A wonderful stay at the condo. You can't beat the views. There was everything you needed and the bed was like a dream! The hosts were wonderful to work with. I highly recommend booking this place! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Good location, great view. The host responded immediately when we were locked out. Only thing that can be picked out is only one burner was working on the cooktop. The rest three did not work.

This condo was very clean and the beds were all incredibly comfortable. We stayed in June and it was quiet, peaceful and the view was spectacular. As far as communication, we didn't receive check-in instructions or more detailed information until the day of departure while we were already traveling and there were some details that we wished we had known before leaving our home. A few specific items were that we would have saved the check-in instructions before making our way up the mountain as we didn't have cell phone service at the top and were not able to open the instructions emailed to us. With that being said, the host (or property manager) immediately responded when we reached out and made sure we got inside. We also were not prepared with all of our logins and passwords for TV streaming services. This was stated in the instructions, but we didn't know in advance. Lastly was the grocery store information. It was clearly stated to get food and groceries in the valley before heading up the mountain, but we had no idea where the "valley" was and the spotty cell phone service made it difficult to search while driving. Giving the names of towns or grocery stores would have been very helpful. We were not prepared for the remoteness of this property. However its remoteness was absolutely beautiful.Overall, this was a wonderful place and I would highly recommend staying here. Providing a bit more information in advance would have made it top notch.

This was the cleanest rental that I have ever stayed in. It’s close to the Spa as well as the Golf and tennis. Beautiful views and we thoroughly enjoyed using the fireplace. We will not hesitate to rent here again.
