The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. However, for a single female I would not recommend this property. There is no peep hole to look out the door if someone is knocking on your door, and the rooms don’t have a phone to call down to the front desk. Additionally the walls are very thin, so it’s not unusual to hear noise from your neighbours.

Due to the fact that every guest has one or more mobile phones nowadays, a telephone system was not used when the hotel was built. So far we have had no feedback that anyone felt unsafe with us. Room size was too small for 3 people. The location was too far from the central part of the city. There was no nearby restaurants, so we had to drive a bit. There was no tea/coffee arrangement in the room. The toilet was too small. I don't think the room rate I paid was worth for this hotel. Not fully satisfied.

At Ibis, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. I would like to give you the following feedback: Unfortunately, we cannot change anything about the location of the hotel. The hotel can be seen on every digital map on the Internet, so that every guest has the opportunity to find out exactly where the hotel is located. The "Klosterrüti" bus stop is right in front of the door. The bus takes you to the city center of Baden within 10 minutes. The bus ticket is included in the room price. The ibis hotels are standardized, which is why we also have no influence on the room size. We will be happy to forward your feedback to the relevant department for upcoming new construction projects. Did you see our snack menu? We do not have a restaurant, but we offer a 24/7 snack menu which is served by our reception. The nearest restaurant is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. We would be happy to give you tips at reception. Unfortunately, a coffee and tea station is not standard in ibis hotels in Switzerland. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Sincerely, Toni Stegemann

Extra parking charge
Nice modern hotel, but no breakfast included in price and car parking additional charge too - 9 for outside parking, 15 for underground parking. Not in a central location so not sure why they charge extra.

We stayed for 6days. Hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. The free bus and train ticket offered to us was excellent. We enjoyed our stay. Complementary bottled water was provided for the first day, it will be good, if bottled water is provided daily.

The hotel building is new one and Build in 2018. It's clean and staff are professional and very friendly. Room was small but comfortable. Stayed 18 nights in July 2019 and weather was very hot during my stay. Reach 34c+ all the time. The AC in the room were working great all the time. Wifi is free with very fast speed. 43" TV With screenshare option so you can connect your mobile to view YouTube and other videos. All in all a great experience

We had a brief stop in Bern and this hotel turned out good for that purpose. Close to tram station to quickly go to the center of town.

We stayed here during the Christmas holidays to be near family. Very clean hotel and rooms. The rooms did not have much floor space but everything required was available.There is a hair dryer available.

It's a brand new hotel, just opened 6 months ago. Casual atmosphere with friendly staffs. Each guest receives a 'Christmas present' upon check out (some sweets, nuts and orange) which is a really nice touch. It's not an ideal location for tourists but it's a good place to stay if you have business or meetings in the area.

New, Crisp and Nice
This is a brand new hotel; just recently opened. Very modern, crisp and clean. Parking is somewhat limited and they seem to cater to the bus crowd. That's a warning to eat breakfast early before the entire bus show up to fill up the place. As a new hotel, it has the most flat out spectacular hall and lighting design I've ever seen. Wonderful space. Rooms are larger than average as is the modern bathroom. Within modest walking distance are restaurants and some stores. Hilly walk over a pedestrian bridge and a unique incline elevator. The desk wasn't as helpful as it might be. I asked to charge a drink to the room and they wouldn't do that. Nor would they take Euros except for bills. We wanted to avoid carrying both Francs and Euros. In a country known for $300 hotels, this was a good price.
