Motel 6 Huron, OH - Sandusky

"There isn't much bad I can say about this motel. There also isn't much to write home about. It was clean and quiet...ish. I was awakened by a passing train at 6:30 (instantly reminded me of my cousin Vinny, if you're old enough to remember that movie). The parking left something to be desired. There was plenty but, the only door that one can enter is the front lobby. The other doors are exit only and card keys will not open the door. Which is a little inconvenient if you must park in back. There is nothing special about the place and was like staying in an Ikea bedroom furnishings ilse. The pool and hottob were fine. Oh! Odd thing, a little weird to note but, the toilet paper holder in the bathroom was oddly placed and not the most accessible from the toilet. It's a bit of a long reach, kids will have to walk over to it."

"The area seems very safe and comfortable. Beautiful views. However the decking has some dangerous spots where the boards are either broke, uneven or popping up because the nails are popped out so it could tripping hazard at night if not repaired. My room was fine except i couldnt use the freezer part of the fridge because at some point people left cans of pop to freeze and were stuck. The bathroom could use a new chalk job. The chalk around the shower was moldy with dark and pink colored mold. But the water was hot and lasted a long time. Some places ive gone have minimum hot water so i really appreciated that after being at cedar point all day. I would definitely stay here again but would maybe ask to change rooms if i noticed these issues earlier. The staff was very friendly and took my compliants to the maintenance."

"This is a great property for the price. Loved the kitchenette: having dishes, utensils and a sink were awesome. Staff great, clean, quiet. I didn’t give it 5 stars simply because it wasn’t perfect..example:the shower was clean but the shower bar was rusted. Summary: I will definitely stay here again."
