"TBH, Staying in a 175 year old room is new to me. Usually stick with the trusty old chain hotels but thought I’d step out of the box a bit and try this. Definitely very happy! Place has some cool vibes, room was spacious, amenities were good, staff super friendly and location was awesome. No problems recommending!"

"The hotel seemed a little “rundown” but it was secure, mostly clean, had a pool, and a great price! There was a huge gap the whole way around the door and no black out curtains so it didn’t get very dark in the room at night. We were in room one and could hear a lot of road noise but that isn’t the fault of the hotel, just an FYI. I received the gate and room codes via email and had zero issues. When booking your room, make sure you choose to have parking included. I would stay here if I were in New Orleans again!"

Authentic Creole Cottage - Steps to French Quarter

"Four of us, ages 60 to 70, rented the cottage and had a wonderful time.The cottage was at the eastern edge of the French Quarter, close to a fantastic restaurant, Succotash NOLA, with a bar and restaurant. Note that they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Check their site for menu.The cottage has central air, a Mr Coffee full pot and lots of coffee and filters. Walmart delivered groceries we ordered online. The bedrooms are upstairs, with a bathroom up and one downstairs. The dining table is adequate, as is the living room.The owners got back to us each time we had questions. There is also a washer/dryer upstairs with detergent. Download the Lyft app to get around town. Their drivers had no problem driving around the construction and getting us back to the cottage."
