"We loved our stay here! It was cozy, quiet, and the breakfast was amazing. The staff was wonderful at getting accomodations ready for our child before we arrived. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy a quiet and relaxing getaway within walking distance to shops and restaurants."
"Lovely hotel with wonderful staff. Very close to great dining eg Classic diner and Pine Bush Chinese . It’s positioned in a lovely area and has a very nice outdoor seating area where you can sit outside and enjoy the sun sets . I removed one star as the air conditioner in our room was very noisy with a musty smell but everything else was perfect ."
"My husband Randy stayed at the hotel for pleasure. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly. It was quiet during the evening hours and it was convenient to restaurants and shops. The price was very good compared to all the other hotels."

New Paltz is a great little town for a two night stay outside of NYC. If you are young, go there during the school year. If you are older and want peace and quiet, go during the summer when most of the college students are away.

New Paltz is a cute town for a stroll. Had dinner at Pho Tibet and it was great. Visited the wine store In Good Taste and enjoyed trying some of their wines. Wish they still had the Farmer's Weed Market on Thurs-Sat.. Maybe it will be resurrected!!

"Kind staff, nice rooms (too small for our toddler to move around), nice breakfast: eggs, sausage, juices, waffle, etc. nice mix of hot and cold stuff. Will definitely come back!"

"Check in staff was excellent, welcoming and informative! . Location was great! Loved the map for reference. Breakfast staff was great! ... Omelettes a little overdone, but potatoes where excellent... Good variety of choices and reasonably priced. Our room as clean and we loved our view. Parking was a bonus"
"A different sort of B&B—self-service breakfast. Owner/manager was cordial, interesting. Huge common room included the breakfast area, big patio for nice weather enjoyment, TV, interesting art on the walls. Breakfast options were okay—bagels, English muffins, cereal—nothing special."
"Hyatt House is my go to when I go to hotel. The staff is always friendly, rooms are always clean, and the breakfast is the best hotel breakfast I’ve had."
