Had a wonderful time at New Smyrna Waves. Our unit was clean and perfect for our girls' weekend. We felt safe and were able to walk to a restaurant right near us or take a 10 minute drive to many other restaurants. The pool was awesome (so clean for being right on the beach!). The area was very quiet at night. Would highly recommend New Smyrna Waves

We liked the place except it wasn't all that clean. The kitchen stove and counter area between the stove and fridge was dirty so were the baseboards. It just looked like it hadn't been cleaned well. We caught someone taking our clothes from the laudry thankfully I walked in on it happening and got most if not everything back. My husband would have liked direct access to the beach from the resort but that wasn't a big issue for myself.

Only issue was that we were not aware of the turtles nesting season and we were not able to get together with friends at night and this was a big issue since we went there for a wedding. Better communication when booking about turtle season, not when you arrive at the property. Thank you

Our two bedroom 2nd floor unit was beautiful and had a view to die for!!!!! Seeing and hearing the ocean was just amazing. There were several guests in attendance, yet it was still quiet. We've already booked for next year. Shout out to Beverly n Valerie in the NSB office and Carlo the concierge!!!

The staff gave such fine attention to details. The check in was excellent! The room was spotless! The care package waiting in the room was outstanding. The rooms were all updated and very attractive. Loved the view! I will make this my destination every time I visit this area. Truly a great experience.

Very nice and inviting
I stayed for a rock and metal festival in Daytona. Its nice waking up on the beach and getting some RR before the show. Awesome spot. Clean and close to everything. Very roomy

The condo was a good space for four adults, location was nice right by the beach (however no direct beach access from the property), the pool area was nice. Good price for the amenities given we were there on Daytona race weekend.

Unique property was clean and quiet. Although was gone all day at the races it was nice to come back to the property knowing it was going to be be a nice evening and a good nights sleep!

I liked the property layout and location. I felt like there needed to a broom in the room. Being right on the beach the sand tracks right in the doorway even with floormat.

Ive been going to this property since 2013. My only complaint is theres multiple condo sets linked to this and its never really clear which ine you get.one set is amazing bas a hot tub and all the other the pool is 4 ft at the deepest with a Baby pool

The pics don’t show the property as it is. The number one thing to note is all the pics were taken from the top floor. Also there is no “balcony” or “porch”. Two chairs sitting by your door. The pool is tiny. They say 2 pools when really there’s a pool and a kiddie pool. 5 ft the deepest on the adult pool.

First Trip to the Area
Only one building is located close to the ocean and pool. The other building does not provide any type of ocean view even a partial view. You do not know which building you will be in until you check in. Also laundry services charge you to wash and dry each load. With a family of 4 laundry got expensive over the week. Our room was clean, however we could not control the temperature of the condo, it got really hot in the room and we could not turn the temp any lower then a couple of degrees.

Stunning views! Disappointed in lack of hot tub. Need room number signs on road or better map. Had a lot of difficulty finding room until we found a friendly maintenance man.

I was a little hesitant booking here because I couldn't find alot of pictures/reviews online. We stayed at the Ocean Sands location on 23rd St and I was pleasantly surprised when we opened our door to see our unit look very similar to the pictures online. The unit was clean and perfect for myself, my husband and our teenage son. The kitchen was fully stocked and not only that, they provide a "starter" pack that includes a roll of paper towels, dish soap, sponges, toilet paper, coffee, and trashbags. We got in late so this was such a help as we brought nothing with us. There is a Dollar General Market a few blocks down the street that has everything you need (which was awesome!). We had a late check-in which wasn't a problem because I had called earlier in the day to let the office know and went to the office first thing the next morning to get our parking passes. Water pressure was great and lots of hot water. Pool was clean and there were plenty of chairs. Great location. (Definitely recommend taking a short walk to Izzy's Island Tacos & Ice Cream!) Will book here and stay again if we are ever in NSB again!! My only complaint was being in a bottom unit and hearing people walking above (it sounded more like elephants). Also, the TV in the living room was on the small side (but we didnt watch alot of TV anyway). Thank you for nice stay home away from home!

Liked physical layout of room. Liked stuff that was in rooms and everything was working properly. Laundry was great both the service provided by Waves for towels and such and the guest laundry. Late night checkin was good. Check out was great. Location was great. Beach is wonderful.

Nice that each upstairs unit has its own staircase privacy and security. Pool was closed on our first day for repairs, but was fixed by the next day, as promised. But we didn’t use anyway because the beach was awesome!

I am huge on reading reviews before picking a place to stay for vacation. I have 3 kiddos so I do tons of research to make sure the location is safe etc. I absolutely loved New Smyrna Waves. The location to the beach was perfect, the swimming pool and villa was just what we needed. It was a completely locked property so we felt safe. You had to use a key or their electronic band to enter the gate from the parking, then to enter the pool area you had to use a key. So as a mother with a young child, that extra security gave peace of mind. The villa itself had everything we needed from fully stocked cabinets with plates/glasses etc to plenty of toilet paper/dishwasher tabs etc. The only con was we stayed for 2 nights and only had 6 towels and the kiddos used the towels to dry themselves off with after the pool etc so we ran out but definitely not the properties fault!!! Oh the place is very quiet. There was a good mixture of families, adult couples and older couples but we didn’t hear anything once inside our unit and especially after dark! I would highly recommend and will definitely stay again!!!
