"I thought I was suppose to have a room with a view, but that was a lie and I payed more for that. My room was very tiny. The closet and bathroom door was hard to close. No hot water in the shower or sink. It took 10 minutes to get hot water. No instructions of where to find the ice machine. The tv are ancient and should be upgraded to have the ability to cromcast to watch an app. The internet was terrible. Never worked properly. I had to use my data."

"Reception staff were rude & awful. No bar fridge in my double bedroom. Elevator was a digital mess However we appreciated location, parking, Food & water vouchers and clean rooms."

"We were upgraded to room 327. It was our 1st wedding anniversary. No tea or coffee facilities in room. No hot water. Water was dark and murky and ice cold. We reported it and was told to run the taps in shower and sink for a good 30 mins then we will get hot water. We got Luke warm water. Not good as we wasted so much water. I asked to change rooms twice this was rejected. I asked to talk to a manager, manager would not come to room. Would we stay again at Hotel Edison Times Square… no. "

"Furniture was dated. Room heated by a radiator without any thermostat control so it was hot. Heating in bathroom via a pipe that made loud noises regularly through the night. It was clean in a good location and checkin was fast and easy but not sure I’d book again. "

"Had an absolutely amazing time staying at this hotel. The price was so good. I’m hoping that I’d be able to get a good deal again. I’m going back to New York. This has been my favourite place. This thing in the city so far."

"Excellent customer service, top tier. Was very disappointed with my stay, around 10-11am was a fire outside of the hotel , and made the hallways and rooms smell like burnt fire and trash. I would like to say the concierge was amazing and professional "

"For the price, I didn’t mind that it was a 25 minutes subway ride to Times Square. The area of the hotel? On the walk from the subway? In the gutter there’s trash, on the sidewalks, trash, on the street, trash. The hotel has an entire downstairs that they could be using for a continental breakfast, instead they only have a cappuccino machine. Not that that’s a bad thing but I think a continental breakfast would bring in more people from all of the other US states; they love a free breakfast. Nice, modern, clean rooms."
