"The Resort is fabulous ! The moment we arrived we were greeted by a nice valet who provided us with bellman service, which was not his job. He was so accommodating that I wish I could recall his name. He was the ideal representative of your company. He assisted us in getting our baggage to our room, and was informative about the amenities of the hotel. We enjoyed the few hours we spent on the Duffy boat. The waitress in the restaurant was very nice, and also a great representative of your establishment. We loved every moment at the Balboa Bay Resort."

"I almost want to keep this gem a secret but my family had the best week here. We came for Disneyland and enjoyed the hotel pools and nearby beaches way more than our day there. "

"I rarely leave reviews but I felt I should because the reviews on this property led me to stay here. If you’re looking for convenience and close proximity to the beach, then this is a great spot. I feel like I was led astray from there. The pictures don’t tell the story. It’s an older property but well maintained. Parking is limited and we had to park on the street. The mattresses are really hard and the sheets were like sand paper. During our stay in the middle of the night, while we were sleeping our smoke alarm went off for no apparent reason. Not only once but twice, we had to disable it. The nightly rate wasn’t cheap either so I expected it to be newer with more amenities. Overall stay was ok minus the middle of the night alarms. "

"Our go to place to stay about every 6 weeks when we go to Newport Beach to see our grandchildren. Always consistently a great place to stay. Kids love the pool s as rea!!!!"

"This location was very clean. The “breakfast” was tea, instant coffee, nutrigrain bars, vending machine type muffins and instant oatmeal. Parking was free. Everything needed to be checked out at the front desk even shampoo bottles. There was NOTHING in the kitchenette, no plates, no spoons no bowl or even cups. The bathroom had one roll of TP per day and no shampoo or conditioner. This place was very clean, but very, very bare bones. "
