Charming and cozy bed and breakfast. Great choice for an extra special treat with extra amenities. Very welcoming and warm vibe. Wine at 5, snacks in hall and breakfast all made it feel very homelike. We are already planning when to go back!

The Inn was just what we hoped for. The rooms were beautiful and extremely clean. It was so convenient to have a well appointed breakfast each morning in the Inn before heading out for the day. The walk to the Cliff Walk was just a block to the water. The staff were accommodating but not in your face every minute. At times we felt like the Inn was our private home - we wish! We will definitely be back soon!

A very nice place to stay and would recommend it for the beautiful location, comfortable and beautiful room and excellent breakfast. The Inn’s pet policy worked against as disrespectful neighbors with two loud dogs kept leaving them in the room and they wouldn’t stop barking. This fairly ruined an otherwise really great stay. For the price you are paying they should rethink their pet policy. In fairness we were slightly mcompensated after the fact of having to complain twice becoming people we didn’t want to on what should have been relaxing. If you book here, make sure you are in the main house away from potential issues.

Labor Day Weekend at Cliffside Inn

We enjoyed our stay at Cliffside Inn - beautiful property and great location (not downtown, but on the Cliff Walk). Great communication from the property in terms of arrival, check-in, etc.. We had a rental car and parking was included and very easy.

I loved everything about The Cliffside Inn. At first, I didn’t love my room because I didn’t realize I had booked a room with a staircase leading to the bathroom. The staff quickly found us a new and better room. I always looked forward to breakfast every morning as there was always something new and delicious to feast on, and I loved the idea of wine hour!! Loved all the fireplaces throughout the common area and the bedrooms. The staff was always friendly and very accommodating. I was sad to leave but my husband and I will definitely come back! Will definitely recommend the Cliffside Inn!!

The room was very nice and the ocean view was as advertised. We only stayed one night, but if we are ever back in Newport for a longer visit, this is the place we will be looking to stay. The only minor hiccup was that the room was not ready at 4:00, but the area is nice and we walked on the Cliff Walk for a bit until the room was ready. We enjoyed the breakfast which had a good variety of choices. All in all, this is a charming location with an acomodating staff and we very much enjoyed our stay.
