Definitely recommend the inside balcony rooms, especially during the colder months. It was so great having a place to chill and drink wine. Unless you valet, there is free parking, just couldn't figure out a good way to get into the hotel without walking around the building. Did not get a chance to check out the food, but the spa was top-notch. We had a great girls weekend!

The room was ready early ,it was very clean and modern. The beds were comfortable. The front desk guys Phillip and Theodore were very accommodating. They were appreciated. House cleaning staff excellent. My only problem was that the restaurant that serves dinner was not open for dinner.The breakfast was great and reasonably priced . Overall the 4 day/ night stay was pleasant

The Marriott is a beautiful property. It is within walking distance to shops and restaurants and is located on the water - the views while having breakfast are breathtaking. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Newport.

Couples get away

Marriott was a wonderful spot for our stay in Newport! Central to all the activities - restaurants and bars — shopping etc. Across from the ballpark was fun!! Took in a Gulls game too. Amenities were wonderful - new outside area next to indoor salt water pool was perfect.

This hotel is beautiful and very clean, beautifully decorated and the restaurant options were amazing. However, the staff at the front desk were a bit rude and weren’t incredibly helpful. Valets and restaurants staff were amazing though!
