Lovely hosts. amazing breakfast. Quiet room. Bathroom a little tired but clean and comfortable. Great views over the Cornish countryside with the sea in the distance. The Travellers Rest just up the road provided excellent evening meal and hospitality.

Absolutely fantastic, jean and declan were so kind and helpful to get me to hospital to get checked after been bitten on leg , jean drove me to hospital and made sure i was in my next hotel before departing. As a solo traveller jean very comforting for me . I Absolutely appreciate everything they did. Thanks jean and declan .

A truly exceptional stay
You will see that Trevarrian Lodge has been given exceptional reviews by everyone and they are all spot on. From the very first welcome to the departure everything about our stay was first class. Declan and Jean are very hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were sumptious and tasty and just what was needed for a family to spend their energy on the coast. A wonderful selection - it was that good, even I ate some fruit! If you are looking for a base near Newquay with good access to other local areas, you cannot find a better place.

Perfect stay
Fantastic place with fantastic hosts. Jean and Declan could not be more hospitable or helpful. We were really made to feel at home. Amazing breakfasts. Great location for Mawgan Porth and Newquay, and also some really good food options within a few minutes walk.

A break in travel.
This stay was forced on us by a change in the time of our Loganair flight from Friday to Saturday. It was pot luck and we happened to do very well. Check in was noisy as there are 2 Jack Russel terriers in residence. Our hostess Jean was extremely welcoming and most helpful with any queries that we had, like where can we gat something to eat in the evening? We were able to read in the back garden at the property after a morning walk as our taxi was booked for 2 pm.

Stayed 3 nights at Trevarrian Lodge with my dog. Both made to feel welcome. Its a good place to stay with a dog as I could even take her down to breakfast with me which was great. Premises clean and comfortable with good COVID procedures in place. Good bus service to Newquay and Padstow which was great as I could leave the car behind and didn't have to struggle finding parking. Only gripe would be is that I would prefer my bacon not deep fried. However this would not put me off returning as its in a very good location for me.

The place was in a quiet cul de sac, need transport to get to beach. Was clean and tidy, breakfast was good. Owners were lovely and nothing was a problem, very helpful.

Ideal for visiting Newquay and Padstow.
Very clean and tidy. Really friendly owners and in a great position for visiting both Newquay and Padstow. Lovely views from the room. Would definitely recommend.

Hidden Gem
A lovely guest house in a wonderful location. Host were very welcoming and breakfast was good. The local pub - three minutes walk was excellent. We had a great meal and there was a good live band playing.

Little gem.
Trevarrian lodge is a very friendly place to spend a couple of nights or even a weeks holiday. Jean and Declan are a lovely friendly couple who run this little guest house with efficiency and humour. We were there for Halloween and the decorations were the spookiest ever. Lovely breakfasts with a wide variety of choice. It's a few minutes drive to Mawgan Porth and 10 minutes walk to the coastal path. Travellers pub at the end of the road staged the best bonfire night we've ever been to. We fully recommend this place.

Fantastic cooked to order full English breakfast and plenty of fruit/yogurt for those with lighter appetite. Very convenient to the coastal path and airport. We actually walked to the airport from the lodge. Jan and Dec were so welcoming and friendly. Felt more like a guest in their home than a commercial enterprise. Cheers!

Chanced on this B&B and it was brilliant
The owners especially Declan have a gorgeous B&B. We have absolutely nothing bad to review and our stay was a damn site better than more mainstream hotels like Premier Inn, Travelodge etc... Also Declan is a good chef so breakfast in the morning was brilliant. Thanks for the service we received, made our short stay a very happy one.

Declan and Jean are the most warm and hospitable hosts I have run across in a B and B in a long time. They go out of their way to insure your stay is perfect. I would highly recommend this guesthouse.

Great location if you like beaches, costal walks and stunning scenery. Hosts Declan and Jean are very warm and friendly. Both Continental and full English breakfast are superb. Ideal location for exploring the rest of Cornwall including Eden Project which is only half an hour drive away. No complaints at all.
