Indoor heated swimming pool (shared with other properties on-site, 30ft x 15ft, depth 4ft-5ft, open all year) with changing facilities and coin-operated sauna. Tennis court (shared with other properties on-site). Fishing lakes (licence required). Bike store. Electric car charging point. Ample parking. No smoking. Please note: There are carp ponds in the meadow.. Set within 24 acres of unspoilt Devonshire country side, the four cottages of Little Dunley Cottages are the perfect base to explore all Devon has to offer right on its doorstep. Located on the edge of the magnificent Dartmoor National Park, with its famous free roaming Dartmoor Ponies, it’s close to lots of activities like a fun filled day of excitement at Crealy Theme Park, or meeting the animals at Paignton Zoo, or taking a relaxing trip on the steam train alongside the picturesque River Dart. Just 20 minutes from beautiful sandy beaches at Teignmouth with its grand pier or the English Riviera of Torbay, you are never far from the action.
The Cottages have been lovingly restored and finished to a very high standard to create the perfect place to make lasting memories. Pristine and gracefully furnished all the cottages enjoy charming views over the surrounding country side. All the cottages have a Log burner inside to really create the relaxing and cosy atmosphere. They also benefit from their own private enclosed gardens with barbecues and sturdy outdoor dining area to enjoy those long summer evenings together.
We at Little Dunley cottages have worked hard to minimise our impact on the environment, all the heating for the cottages and swimming pool is provided by Biomass Boiler using waste wood from a neighbouring business, we also have solar panels on the swimming pool roof providing 11.6kw of power for all our needs. We provide all our own water using a bore hole on site and a fully serviced water treatment plant.
So, come and enjoy the splendid facilities at Little Dunley Cottages including the fantastic heated indoor swimming pool with sauna, the games room designed with all the family in mind offering free games of pool, table top football, darts, table tennis and a selection of activities for the younger guests. Outside there is also our all-weather hard tennis court and carp fishing lake with-in a natural meadow.
