"The whole ryokan experience was great with only 2 things that needs to be improved. First being the in-room dinner service: the staff didn't mention that meal was being served as courses and we thought the initial portion served was the entire thing. The rice was missing so I had to check with the reception on this. It was confusing on both ends as receptionist mentioned that the staff would have informed us that dinner is served 3 courses but we were not aware. Food was great and delicious but do not expect to take your own sweet time to eat. Staff will clear it within 1 hour even if you have not finished eating. Second thing was that the bidet was not working! Receptionist was informed twice and they said they will check it out but nothing was fixed.. was honestly really disappointed in this. The payable private onsen wasn't anything spectacular, not worth the JPY 3,300 IMHO. "

"Helpful host who waited for us outside the house with umbrellas as it was training. Very nice bathtub with lower back and shoudler massage features. Well equipped kitchen with spices and coffee. "

"Hotel staff was great, breakfast was yummy, lots of free hotel toiletries incase you forgot anything, and a great location!! We had a beautiful room and rooftop view of mt Fuji!! Would book again 100%"
