Amazing views
This is such a fantastic location and apartment. Steps from a great beach, the convenience of the train station, the view from the patio — we were tempted to never leave. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to have both some relaxing down time, and still some day adventures to nearby Nice or Monaco. Did I mention the view from the patio?

Lovely home away from home
Lovely property well equipped with utensils and basic pantry supplies. Minor maintenance issues attended to rapidly. Close to rail station, but electric trains so little noise- was not disruptive. Walk to beach and shops.

Fabulous views--fabulous apartment & Villefranche sur Mer!
The apartment is exactly as it looks in the pictures. It is well-stocked, the patio is huge, the views are fabulous and everything was great. The beds were fine, but could have been turned or flipped or something--they did not cause me any pain or to lose sleep. We loved this apartment and would come back again and again if we could. The village and the location were all perfect and Pat and George were fantastic! It was so difficult to leave.

Lovely apartment over looking the sea
This was our second stay at this apartment and it was as good as the first. It is in an excellent location right by the train station and only a ten minute walk to shops and restaurants. The apartment is so comfortable and nicely decorated. My favourite spot is the balcony that overlooks the sea and the old town. Villefranche-sur-Mer is such a lovely town and is a great base for day trips to other towns such as Eze, Cannes and Nice. Our hosts were wonderful and helpful. I know we will be back!

Very comfortable apartment in great location
We loved the apartment. Villefranche is a lovely place with lots of amenities close by. Close to the train so it’s easy getting anywhere. Pretty quit location- as other reviews have said, noise from train not a bother for us Hosts are great communicators.

Wonderful stay
Lovely apartment, with beautiful views over the Mediterranean Sea. Each morning we enjoyed our coffee sitting on the porch and watching the activity around us. We had returned our rental and made use of the train service. Just a short walk to the station and two stops from Nice, which we did frequently. The train service was excellent, with limited waiting between trains. Pat and George were very accommodating as we had a very early check in so we could drop off our rental in Nice. This was our second stay and we hope to return again in the future. The apartment was very well stocked and even had a nice welcome of bread and fruit and milk. A comfortable stay. Mabel and Glen

Great view
The property was in a great position. travel easy with railway station 100 mtrs away. Description of 2nd bedroom being a cosy bedroom was a little conservative. The bed is against the wall 1 side and leaving 9 inch gap the other. This room in my opinion is for a single bed. The property is advertised as having satalite tv, however only sky news is available. The towels that were supplied were of good quality, but a change mid week would have been nice as 7 days is just a bit to long. Overall the property seems to be a bit to lived in as it is cluttered with personal items.

What a wonderful stay! The accommodations are as advertised. In fact, our expectations were exceeded. I had been concerned that the view might be obstructed by the train wires or I'd be bothered by train / vehicle noise. Not at all. The view was incredible and the trains are electric and thus quiet. Virtually no vehicle traffic as the road next to the building is a dead-end. It was very quiet, which we enjoyed. The location is very close to the train station, and we easily went into Nice, Beaulieu-Sur-Mer (For groceries at the Super U), Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat (to visit the gardens at Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild), Menton (very nice sea-side town), and Ventimiglia in Italy (for gelato). And of course we spent a lot of time in Villefranche-sur-mer, which is lovely. We spent a couple of mornings just sitting out on the balcony, watching the sunrise, relaxing and reading. Note that the washing machine is a French Top Loader, so the barrel doors need to be closed correctly for the wash to proceed properly. (We made the mistake of not doing so, and this resulted in an extra visit by the host... lesson learned!) Pat is an excellent host, and went above and beyond during the holidays to give us detailed directions and help us when we had questions. The accommodations are clean, modern, and a good size for a couple. A very rejuvenating trip. We hope to come back and stay here again in the future.

Miss it already
We loved staying at this property! My husband, daughter and I were meeting my son at the Nice airport and the three of us were delayed getting there (bad ratings for the airlines!:( ) and George the owner was kind enough to pick up my son, drove him around for a tour of the town, and then brought him to the property to check him in and show him all the things we would need to know about the apartment. We REALLY apppreciated that! Pat and George's property was just as shown online and the view from the large patio was even better. The train runs right below it but seeing as we didn't rent a car, it was so convenvient to have it so close. The noise didn't bother us at all when we were in the apartment. In fact, we missed the peacefulness of this property after going to an apartment in Nice a few days later. Not quiet and peaceful in Nice! The town of Ville Franche is so pretty and easy to walk to shops and restaurants from the property! Overall, we were very happy and would definitely stay here again! Thank you Pat and George!

Brilliant apartment in a fantastic location
What a great place. The communication with Pat was excellent ahead of the trip and George met us and gave us a great tour and description of the flat and area. We really enjoyed staying here. Very comfortable and a great location. right next to the train station and the beach and a short walk to the supermarket and restaurants. thank yoy for having us.

Wow, wow, wow!
My sister-in-law and I had a fabulous week at this amazing Villefranche apartment. George was there to greet us and we were in heaven the moment we walked in the door. He gave us tons of information, made us feel comfortable about contacting him and Pat if we had any questions or issues, and left some great goodies in the refrigerator including a delicious bottle of wine. The large view terrace was perfect for any time of the day and the rest of the apartment had comfortable furnishings, bedding, etc... The train was a three minute walk and made for easy travel to the nearby towns and villages, and restaurants in Villefranche were also only minutes away. After the day trips we were always pleased to return to our great apartment and town. After this wonderful experience we know we will return. Actually, I have a reservation for next May:).

Living the dream
The location of this property is fabulous!!!! And the view is heaven- the SEA- right there. You sit on the balcony & just enjoy the water...... You are a very short walk to the train station & from there you can tour all of the south of France & the inland .......

Clean, comfortable apartment in safe, excellent location in Villefranche Sur Mer
The apartment was great! It is clean with comfortable furniture (beds and couch) and well appointed without being cluttery. The location is near the bottom of the hill so not as many steps to town as if it where located higher up on the hill, and is a short (8-10 min) walk to the main restaurant and shop area of Villefranche. We felt safe in the apartment and walking home after dark, albeit we were never out past 11pm. The town of Villefranche is beautiful and friendly. The apartment is located just up the hill from the train station, which has its pros and cons - pro was that is it a 3-5 min walk to the train station, which is awesome; con was that the cables and beams of the train system somewhat interfered with the view from the balcony. The view was still beautiful, but know there are train cables, etc in the balcony view of the sea.

A wonderful week
We had a wonderful week in the apartment in Villefranche-sur-Mer. The apartment is supplied with everything you could possibly need. It is sparkling clean, with comfortable furnishings and high quality linens. Pat and George are wonderful hosts, allowing us to check in early, and leaving us a great welcome package of bread, cheese, wine, and other goodies. They were most patient in answering our many questions, and provided great help when we had a medical situation that needed to be dealt with. The apartment is convenient to everything: the train, the village and the beach. No need for a car! The large sunny terrace with direct views of the bay encourage some just stay-and-relax time. Perfect for Our Quick Trip
The apartment was perfect for a quick trip to the Cote d' Azur with my daughter. The apartment is extremely convenient to the train and beach and only a short walk from the center of Villefranche...making it a great location from which to explore the area. But, a peaceful respite at the end of the day. The property does overlook the train station, which isn't obvious from the photos. But, as others have noted noise, foot traffic, etc. weren't an issue for us. We have stayed in dozens of similar properties all over the world and this was among the best equipped we have had. Prompt and seamless interaction with owner, who was extremely helpful in arranging transportation and assisting when an issue arose. Would highly recommend.

My daughter and myself stayed for a long weekend and what an amazing time we had, this stunning 2 bed apartment is located a short 5 min walk from the restaurants and beach and 2 min from the train station where we took our journey on to Italy for the day, the appartment is fully equipped with everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. We were met at the appartment by pat and George who showed us everything we needed to know about the appartment, resort and surrounding area and even left us wine, cheese, bread and milk 5 star all the way and hope to stay here again soon Chris

Wonderful Apartment

Wonderful Stay and Wonderful Location
We stayed in this apartment for 3 nights with our family of 4. The location is perfect with quick access to the beach, train station, and main part of town. The walk was easy as the apartment is not up far from the sea. Everything was clean, comfortable and worked perfectly. The kitchen was very well stocked and we were greeted with such friendly help. They even scheduled a driver from the apartment to Monte Carlo for our departure. We would definitely stay here again!

Heerlijk appartement op goede locatie
We hebben genoten van ons verblijf op een van de mooiste plekken van de Cote d’Azur. Mooi uitzicht, prima bedden, alles goed verzorgd en prettig. De treinen rijden af en aan voor je neus, maar maken relatief weinig herrie, omdat ze elektrisch zijn. Vooral de piepjes van de deuren die dicht gaan zijn iets hinderlijk, maar het went snel. Minder last van dan van een drukke weg, ook omdat ze ‘s nachts niet rijden. En er staat veel tegenover doordat je dicht bij het beste en mooiste strandje in de buurt bent en ook makkelijk de trein neemt voor bezoek aan Monaco, Nice en supermarkt in Beaulieu. En ook vlakbij vele restaurants in het mooie Villefranche sur Mer. Vriendelijke eigenaren die Engels spreken.

Tres bien accueillis avec quelques spécialités,nous avons été charmés par la vue de l'appartement. L'impression de plonger dans la.mer à chaque instant.Il y a effectivement le train mais peu fréquent et sinon très calme car pas de route proche .La plage est au pied de l'immeuble. L'appartement est très propre et comporte toutes les commodités. Literie très confortable. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Françoise

Schöne Tage im Herzen der Côte d‘Azur
Aus dem Wohn- und Schlafzimmer hat man einen schönen Blick auf die Bucht von Villefranche sur Mer. Hat was! Das zweite Schlafzimmer ist ohne Tageslicht und sehr klein. Der Backofen und die Pfannen hätten vom Vorgänger einen Abwasch gebraucht und beim näheren Hinsehen fehlte es an Sauberkeit. Ansonsten war alles an täglichem Gebrauch vorhanden. Der Blick vom Balkon auf den Bahnhof ist kein Highlight und an das Tuten des Zuges vor der Einfahrt in den Bahnhof muss man sich gewöhnen. Das Apartment ist nett eingerichtet.

Sehr schönes Appartment
Es ist ein sehr schönes Appartment. Es war sauber und der Blick von der Terrasse ist unbezahlbar. Das Appartment hat alles was man braucht, der Strand ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß und mit dem Bahnhof vor der Tür kann man schnell und bequem mit dem Zug die Umgebung erkunden. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich.

Dejligt ophold i lejligheden i Le Neptune. Vi var 2 voksne og 2 teenagere, og lejligheden fungerede perfekt til en uges ferie. God og charmerende indretning, skøn terrasse, fantastisk udsigt, et velekvipereret køkken - og dejligt svalende med aircondition på de varme dage. Med blot 200 meter til stranden og 300 meter til byens restauranter og butikker, er det et rigtig godt afsæt for aktiviteter og afslapning.

Perfect location, great host and wonderful apartment - what’s not to like!?
Located literally 5 minutes walk from the beach this modern and fully equipped apartment is a perfect place to stay next time you visit Villefranche. Perfect for a couple of friends or a family with a couple of kids. Very helpful host. The view from the terrace is wonderful, the aircon very efficient and the walking distance to the centre of the old town is just 10-15 min.

Eine wunderbare Wohnung! Super Klimaanlage, super Aussicht, idealer Standort - sehr nahe zum Bahnhof! Ruhe pur! Alles da, was man braucht! Für jeden zu empfehlen, der eine tolle Ferienwohnung sucht! Sehr, sehr netter Empfang und Kontakt mit den Verwaltern Pat und George!
