"We enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel. We were upgraded to a suite which was nice. The breakfast and restaurant were good and staff were keen to help. If I had a criticism it is that service can at times be slow despite there being lots of staff around. "

"A lot of things were bad. Toilet and bathroom was bad. The rooms had lot of noise of toilet water flowing from other rooms. Everything in the room was very old and in bad condition. Tv is very old, screens are smelly and bad, bed sheets were smelly amd bad. Overall not worth the price..felt like staying in a cheap motel."

"We stayed for 3 nights in Dec 17. Rooms in cottage category are newly built, clean & have large private terrace with 270 degrees of beautiful tea plantation view. The surroundings of the property has colorful landscaping and sits on the edge of the plantation. Just like a scenic picture. Food is absolutely amazing. Just to name a few... "This hotel is the perfect example of what it is not as being portrayed as! Photos look great, this place is a dump! Very dirty, spiders everywhere are hotel bed sheets still had hair from the previous guests take a look at the tub in the photo! Cost more money than this damn break chain with breakfast, there was no way we were going to eat that food with all the gnats flying all over the place Way over price this really isn't even worth an Indian $5 hotel. "A great escape with great service. A bit out of town away from the noisy traffic, set in gorgeous surroundings. The room was very large and clean and beds were comfortable. Felt like 5 star. The bar and food options were good. Altogether a great stay where our every need was met."
